@BullsFanRK@annabreetop@greg_price11 Tell me you know nothing about vaccines without telling me. Next thing you’ll be railing against someone who claimed that internal combustion cars need gas to run.
Tell me then, Doctor: how do vaccines work?
A vaccine is a weakened form of the bad bacteria or virus introduced into your body. This triggers your own immune system response to PRE-DEVELOP the antibodies needed to fight off the REAL, FULL STRENGTH bacteria or virus when you encounter it later. Therefore, your body it PRE PREPPED to fight the real fight.
So when you ARE exposed to measles, you WILL still be infected and contagious, but for a much shorter period of time and, ideally, with few or no symptoms. And well before real, possibly LETHAL damage is done to your body.
MRNA vaccines use a similar principle. They mimic the RNA of the attacking bugs instead of using weakened versions of them to PRE PREP your immune system.
Being vaccinated does not stop you from getting measles nor does it stop you from being a carrier of measles to others while infected. What it DOES do is prep your immune system to fight a measles infection, faster than your system could with no prior exposure to measles. The idea is to get your body into the fight BEFORE serious symptoms, and hopefully any symptoms, appear.
Also, if YOU are vaccinated, then you have nothing to fear from someone carrying measles whether THEY are vaccinated or not.
@DJSnM@kiffboet Yes, along with football stadiums, airports, and even city water and sewer, as opposed to wells and septic systems. Now that Starlink is available, running fiber everywhere isn’t as necessary.
@TMSTRS_@ClownWorld And how, exactly, was this REQUIRING (through use of lethal force, which is the OP’s point) everyone to participate?
Tell me you didn’t get the point without telling me.
He in no way suggested “drinking bleach” during the Covid outbreak. I’m not a rabid Trump fan, but mindless Trump Derangement Syndrome sufferers, who don’t know any better, don’t need AI to spread their OWN lies and misinformation.
Just like the “fine people on both sides” hoax, there is plenty of misinformation to go around from living, breathing people without AI. Perhaps all posts from all people should have a disclaimer with their political affiliation?
@Kyotoma88@ADFLegal@SethDillon@TheBabylonBee How would this law have prevented misinformation during COVID? The current AI bubble hadn’t even been started in 2020. Also, no one of any public office suggested drinking bleach during Covid.
No. I have worked with a Department of Vital Statistics in a Florida county. The CDC had solid numbers that the entire educational and working population were functionally IMMUNE to COVID within a month of the pandemic starting. Their “concerns” were ginned up from bad information.
The AMA strategy to reduce the number of doctors was most effective in the 20th century, when they successfully fought against expanding medical schools and capped residency funding to protect physicians' incomes. Keeping the number of doctors intentionally lower than market forces would demand.
Death rates over 60:
60-69 years - 0.1771%
70-79 years - 0.4425%
80+ years - 1.2168%
And regardless of the death rates for old people:
YES. Let the rest of us continue to live our lives normally.
If you’re worried about your own mortality at age 80+ then there’s a simple fix for that:
YOU stay home. Let the rest of the world continue.
Finally, at age 80+ the COMMON COLD can kill you. We don’t ever want to say this, but from that age onwards it’s not the common cold, or the flu, or even Covid that kills you:
IT’S OLD AGE.
Don’t lie about the death rates because you can’t stand to look at yourself in the mirror and see the coward looking back.
Death rates over 60:

70-79 years - 0.4425%
80+ years - 1.2168%
NO GROUP WAS ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR COMPLETE LIE OF “AS HIGH AS 20%”
And regardless of the death rates for old people:
YES. Let the rest of us “go to the movies”.

You poor baby. Scared to death like a little kitten of a disease with a fatality rate of less than one tenth of one percent of the population.
Here’s the breakdown for working age people:
Ages 0–19: ~0.0003% (1 in 330,000)
Ages 20–29: ~0.003% (1 in 33,000)
Ages 30–39: ~0.011% (1 in 9,000)
Ages 40–49: ~0.035% (1 in 2,800)
Ages 50–59: ~0.13% to 0.15% (roughly 1 in 700 to 1 in 800)
So locking down the working population was a complete waste of time, money, and resources.
Also, do you use the same brain damaged logic for OTHER causes of death?
In 2025 the death rate across the United States population from AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENTS was one hundredth of one percent. Or do you want to be revisionist and claim that we should only consider people who had accidents and not the entire population?
Not cherry picking anything. People under 60 comprise the vast majority of the working and school population of the country. Shutting down the schools, colleges, workplaces, gyms, beaches, do a disease that the majority was IMMUNE to was brain damaged at best, and EVIL at worst.
For 2020
60-69 years old - 0.17%
70-79 years old - 0.44%
80+ years old - 1.22%
I hate to be the bearer of bad news. But once you hit 80+ a common COLD can kill you. In 2025 over 20,000 seniors 80+ died of the FLU. I would say that once you hit 70 or certainly 80, ANYTHING that kills you is the result of OLD AGE. But apparently we’re not allowed to say THAT anymore. There’s always got to be a REASON, as if people are supposed to live forever.
@anonamouse58311@GovBraun And YES, I put this mostly on the parents. But if helicopter parents won’t discipline little Johnny for using his smartphone in class, then you end up with laws like this.
