@airmailer for the last few months on iPhone the “mark unread” has not worked. It appears to work but then has marked itself read again next time I open the app.
This is making it too dangerous to continue using for work. Any chance you could investigate?
🚨 Active supply chain attack on [email protected]. The latest version pulls in [email protected] -- a brand-new package that didn't exist before today.
Socket's AI analysis flags it as a malicious obfuscated dropper: runtime deobfuscation, dynamic execSync loading, payload staging to temp/ProgramData directories, and post-execution artifact deletion. Consistent with supply chain malware.
We're still investigating. If you use axios, pin your version and audit your lockfile.
@jeffrey_way Always wondered what people that work in coffee shops do when they need the toilet? Pack everything up then come back to someone else in your chair and your coffee missing?
I’ve started a separate account for the security side of what I’m building.
Mostly notes from real server compromises, common Laravel mistakes, and things that quietly go wrong in production.
There’s a product coming out of this soon, so keeping it focused: @signascope
Some frameworks blur the line between frontend and backend.
But if a server method is exposed to the browser, it can usually be invoked directly from dev tools.
Not through your UI, but around it.
Treat every exposed method like a public API.
Building VSCode extensions isn’t my thing…but I wanted a smoother way to jump between projects. Inspired by the old Panic Coda dashboard.

@adamwathan@paper I’m sure there is probably more to it, but that pitch just sounds no different to all the other drag and drop web builders that “code behind the scenes” we’ve all hated for the last 20 years.
@fideloper Migrate…instant regret as I forgot to add a column…rollback and re-migrate. I do this loads. A full reseed can be a pain if you’ve just been testing inputting loads of data and just want to continue on.
@SlackHQ for the last month or so, any time I switch workspaces, it scrolls me up about 2 or 3 days so I have to scroll down to the latest message every time I switch. Slack desktop app, mac sonoma
@PovilasKorop I gave Herd a go a couple of weeks ago and it really is great but the fact you can’t map a site to a custom domain for e.g. google auth meant it was an instant uninstall for me 😕
Confession: The `apply` feature in Tailwind basically only exists to trick people who are put off by long lists of classes into trying the framework.
You should almost never use it 😬
Reuse your utility-littered HTML instead.
