I breastfeed Ginny for over 18 months. She nursed for the last time on Tuesday night, and I didn’t know then it would be the last time. I am so grateful weaning her was easier than expected and so sad my girl is getting so big 😭

Ginny knows how to knock now and she will knock on the door to my office a couple times a day just to come in, say hi, run to me and give me a hug 😍 this girl has got me wrapped.

Today at 15 months old, Ginny got her first injury that required medical attention. She’s fine, but she cut her finger pretty bad and was sent home with steri strips and a bandaid. Which she promptly removed as soon as we got home 🙃

In middle school, I was obsessed with horses. The boy I had a crush on teamed up with the “popular boys” and sent me a video of horses being slaughtered in a slaughter house. He then never spoke to me again.

15 years ago today my step dad passed away and it drastically altered my life and and the way I perceive the people I love. It feels weird to not acknowledge it in some way… so I’m acknowledging. 15 years ago I lost someone I loved. And I miss him.

Sooo for the last like 7ish months Ginny has slept in bed with me every night. (It’s how we’ve both gotten the most sleep) Today we put her crib up against our bed and she fell asleep in there (with assistance) and she’s been asleep for 20 minutes. I’m ecstatic and heartbroken.
