Later is where excuses live. Later is where good intentions go to die. Later is a broken back and a bent spirit. Later says “all-nighters are temporary until we’ve got this figured out.” Unlikely. Make the change now.
Dear @kritisanon
You wouldn’t dress for Eid the same way you dress for a nightclub. You wouldn’t dress for Christmas the same way you dress for a beach holiday. You wouldn’t wear Halloween attire to a traditional wedding.
There is a reason we dress differently for Holi, Diwali, weddings and religious festivals. Clothing, food, sweets and traditions are all shaped by the occasion.
The issue isn’t “telling women what to wear.” The issue is whether what is being promoted is appropriate for the occasion.
Wear whatever you want in your personal life or films. That’s your choice.
But when you participate in a festival rooted in tradition, showing some sensitivity toward the occasion isn’t oppression.
It’s basic cultural awareness. 😇
we used to wake up to music.
now it has been replaced with notifications.
as a kid, my dad played old Hindi songs every morning. I came across @ybhrdwj post and it instantly brought those memories back.

give it a spin!
The highest-grossing actor in film history is a woman most people couldn't pick out of a lineup.
Zoe Saldaña's movies have earned $15.47 billion at the box office. In January she passed Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson for the all-time record. She's the only actor ever with four films over $2 billion each. She's in the three biggest movies ever made. And almost nobody stops her on the street.
Because for roughly $13 billion of that total, her actual face never appears on screen.
She's blue in three Avatars. She's green in Guardians, Infinity War, and Endgame. The most bankable performer alive built her record almost entirely inside CGI, which means the single most valuable face in Hollywood spent fifteen years hidden under performance capture dots while the box office receipts piled up under someone else's skin tone.
That gap is the whole logic of Lioness. Taylor Sheridan gave her one of the only franchises where audiences watch her real face for a full season, and she's the reason a spy show became one of Paramount+'s biggest originals.
Then in 2025 she won the Oscar, as herself, for Emilia Pérez. First Dominican American to win one.
James Cameron has her booked as a blue alien through at least 2031.
The face behind $15 billion still gets maybe two projects a decade where you can actually see it.
Before cafés became aesthetic, there were chai tapris.
₹10 cutting chai, random conversations, a radio playing in the background, and memories that stayed forever.

Essential reading to the point where @sparshselim got a printout of this article and placed it on everyone's desk this morning.
Good time to also note that 99% of 'assignment' submissions I get are almost always written by AI 😢
