We are practicing physical distancing as well. We are closed to the public, staff is spaced apart, PW workers are staying at distance and if you start working in one vehicle you stay in that vehicle until the end of the day, then it is wiped down. #mgmt0180
With all the changes due to COVID-19 how has work changed in your municipality? In the City of Steinbach we have some working permanently from home, some who are rotating one week home, one week in the office & some staying in the office. I am one staying in office. #mgmt0180
Yes our office has a drop box, online payments and telepay as well. They are also getting ready just in case we have to work from home. Seeing what computers people have at home and laptops. Not there yet. #mgmt0180
@deb_roy18@charles_cycle We have 3 different options for people paying bills. We have a secure drop box located at our City Hall, online payments as well as mail. #mgmt0180

@laceygaudet I agree, river erosion is a natural process of nature and home owners should be prepared to pay for work that needs to be done to their property because of the natural process. This is the risk they take when purchasing river lots. #mgmt0180
@ElaineMcGregor5 Yes, high speed would be great. We access by a dish and sometime loose connection. My kids comment in that they would like to move to get better internet. My son will take his computer to his brother's in Winnipeg to down load some stuff. #mgmt0180
@laceygaudet@MunicipalTyler Yes I agree, once you look at what all falls into employee theft you see the wide range from cash to time, Very interesting article. #mgmt0180

@Malkin_071@AmandaRoseRemp Yes a very good read. I agree that the CAO's position is a difficult one, having to be able to communicate effectively with council members new and old each time there is a change. #mgmt0180
@FamosoOrig Yes very unsettling for these residents. A lot of them are not sure as to the reasons why. Very little explanation to the residents. We here bits and pieces, but they do not really make sense.
@Darlenethom2@Katelyn23498044 Yes, drainage is always a hot topic, from the ditches not being cleared of the bulrushes to culverts being plugged by beavers. Although this year we did go out and replace some culverts with new ones. #mgmt0180
