"You can train as many people as you want, but if you’re not paying them and treating them and valuing them, they’re not going to stay in the health-care system."

We need to talk about the real causes of inflation and what we can do about it:
we can start with increased wages, stronger social programs, and end pandemic profiteering.

Cupe204 support workers. They have worked tirelessly through this pandemic. They have not received a raise in five years.
Time for Heather Stefanson to make Healthcare a priority.
Healthcare support workers deserve to be treated better.

"She quickly became involved with hospital unions - CUPE. She, along with some of her co-workers, courageously organized union locals in the HSC and further campaigned for female employee's right to "equal pay for equal work".

The healthcare workers have been so committed and caring during this pandemic. They have been without a new collective agreement, have not had a raise in 5 years.Premier Heather Stefanson when are you going to make health care a priority, and provide support staff a fair deal.
Yesterdays budget doesn’t go far enough. Pallister cut healthcare and the money they are putting back into healthcare is not even going to replace what they cut out. Don’t be fooled by the money amount, will actually spend it.

Manitoba government fails to address systemic staffing shortages in long-term care - CUPE Manitoba

The pandemic made everything harder for working people and their families. After two years of tremendous hardship under COVID-19, working people deserve a budget that works for them.
