@WandFHighways why are Cartmel Races permitted to get away with road closures and one way systems???? The signage is totally inadequate and there is no way for residents - council tax payers- to check in advance

@Cartmelrace I hope everyone has a great day. Not everyone in Cartmel is going to the races. Unfortunately this fact is ignored by the organisers. Totally inadequate signage and no way of checking in advance means I was unable to get to Cark station. 😡

@AvantiWestCoast As above. 21 Dec 2024.The Avanti train was originally travelling from Euston to Edinburgh. At Preston the Edinburgh passengers were kicked off and the train then travelled Preston to Euston. It was about 8pm. Do you need other information?

@AvantiWestCoast on 21 Dec 2024 I took an Avanti train from Preston to Euston which was not a timetabled service. Northern are refusing my Delay Repay claim because they can’t find proof of the train. It was about 8pm in the evening. Can you help please?

@AvantiWestCoast Both! But the root cause of the delay was Northern train cancellation from Cark to Lancaster. So they said the Delay Repay claim is via Northern
