@jahsounds @HomemadeMonster I hope you're right about this. It feels so hopeless. Part of me just wants to sit back and watch the 💩 show. Find out what they really voted for, with nobody to restrain him.
@KevinMezentsev@lorimakesquilts@ask_aubry Whose blood and sweat ran plantations? Not the white owner.
Whose sweat and tears get your amazon orders to you? Not Bezos.
@snowball1926 It was happening. Your generation is the one that pushed for the right to get abortions. There are always people who hold different opinions on what is moral. It's not a single societal attitude.
@DannyParkIRL@scottsantens @mamaprogressive What makes you think she's the puppet? He is the one taking his orders from Putin.
Don't you ever ask anyone for advice? Who do you go to? The best people to consult are the people who have done the job before you.
@OneTreePhotos @AbortionChat Abortion is the term for a pregnancy ending event, whether it's chosen, spontaneous, or a necessary procedure to evacuate already dead tissue. You want to stop the first type, but if you do, it automatically complicates the medical care for the other two types.
@LiangRhea It's by design. This is likely a strong democratic area. They do this to discourage voting for people who prefer democrats. It's a feature, not a bug.
@logicpolice45 @united6059 @EtienneMartell@jjfitzgeraldMD Is this the life you want your child to have? You have planned to support a child. Do you have the finances to support the increased medical needs? Can you afford the time off this fetus will require? What will the quality of life be?
@logicpolice45 @united6059 @EtienneMartell@jjfitzgeraldMD Your chart shows that, at that point, there is less than a 20% chance that you will have a child with no significant health problems.
Your child will likely die OR have significant health problems. So instead of taking them to a playground, you'll be scheduling them for surgery
@PabloSt981@jjfitzgeraldMD And doctors do try, but women deserve the right to determine what is right for them, whether the risk is justified. You don't get to tell a stranger that she must destroy her body because of your feels.
@logicpolice45 @united6059 @EtienneMartell@jjfitzgeraldMD 23 weeks isn't viable. At 23 weeks, nearly 6 months, the choice has already been made. Under these circumstances, this is a wanted pregnancy. If an abortion occurs at 23 weeks, it's because there is a problem with the mother or the fetus. It's not a matter of convenience.
@EtienneMartell @erwinPIEdd @MeanderingRhode@jjfitzgeraldMD Nobody carries a fetus for 7 or 8 months just to decide, nah, not now. Let's abort.
I can't imagine any circumstance where this would happen. You learn about a pregnancy within the first trimester typically and you decide what your future will be. Mom or not.
@EtienneMartell @erwinPIEdd @MeanderingRhode@jjfitzgeraldMD I'm married and I still don't want any kids. Am I supposed to ask my husband to understand not having sex for decades because we don't want children? How does that work?
@EtienneMartell @erwinPIEdd @MeanderingRhode@jjfitzgeraldMD Why do you use children as a punishment? Is that the relationship you had with your parents? You were a burden they didn't want and were forced into. Is that what you were to your mom?
@EtienneMartell @erwinPIEdd @MeanderingRhode@jjfitzgeraldMD The procedure you mentioned is only used to remove a fetus that has already died. What you are referring to is against the law.
@PabloSt981@jjfitzgeraldMD Unless you're poor and can't afford it, or if you didn't choose to become pregnant, or if you're dead and can't enjoy your baby. It's possible to try again if you aren't dead or permanently rendered unable to become pregnant.
