Here’s a short nature video featuring a baby deer and a leopard. Normally, this little fawn would be in serious danger—but could this story take an unexpected turn? Watch to find out! Surely there is a lesson to be learned!
Who is like the Lord?
Who but the Lord does not tire of our need?
Who but the Lord cannot defraud us nor deceive?
Who but the Lord is such unbearable light, he wraps himself in darkness lest we perish at the sight?
Who but the Lord, being Love, cannot love us less without becoming less?
No one can be the Lord to us but the Lord. Forsake false saviors. Cast aside idols.
There is only one who saves, one who delivers, one who frees, one who forgives and redeems, one who pulls our feet of clay whole from the muddy miry pit.
Only one whose very words are spirit and life.
To whom would we go??? Where else in this world will we find anyone who compares??
There is only one who is our shield and our glory and the lifter of our head. Only one who can raise us from the dead.
Only one. He is our song and our salvation. We bow our knees to Christ alone.
@BethMooreLPM Anytime, I hear or meet people I or my husband worked with (he is a pastor and I am a chaplain) our hearts are so so encouraged that they are still in the Lord. The same is for churches that are doing well or missionaries still staying strong!
One of the most important ICU communication skills you can learn…
Knowing when to drop it.
To stop asking about code status, stop expressing your frustration that a family “doesn’t get it”, stop trying to get a family to “understand” the situation.
Knowing when is key.

A new beginning! We must learn to live each day, each hour, yes, each minute as a new beginning, as a unique opportunity to make everything new. Imagine that we could live each moment as a moment pregnant with new life. Imagine!” ~ Henri Nouwen

Dear Tina Turner,
So glad you left a good job in the city working for the man every night and day. You did us women proud and made the world stage decisively rowdier. We’ll keep rolling on the river.
What’s love got to do with it? As it turns out, a lot.
We loved you.
The mourner tells you what they feel and think. You do not teach. You listen; you bear witness; you read her and you reassure because you understand the nature of grief. “Always take your cues from her. By instinct she is leading, in patience you are serving.” Walter Wangerin
This year on St. Patrick’s Day, do you know the real man behind the myths? One thing is for sure, we need more men and women of sacrifice like him today.

Why does it make me so mad when a man, who is a complete stranger, calls out to me, “Hey beautiful?” I feel disrespected, dirty, and unimportant. Why don’t men get this???
