@romaticize Hi @romaticize , I am a journalist with the Mumbai newspaper Mid-Day. Working on a story connected to the "Pataka" Twitter thread. Please let me know how I can contact you!
@zoru75@MumbaiMetro3 Yes, that is the only thing that makes sense now. It adds another 15-20 minutes to my commute because of traffic, but at least it’s safer!
A nightmarish commute home for a woman at night on @MumbaiMetro3 i live in Aarey, this line should have made my life easier. Instead, I have to walk amid full-blown traffic on jvlr, no clear pavement to walk on. Then have to go down haunted-looking stairs with no lights
@shrianiruddhaji Hi, I'm a journalist with the Mumbai newspaper Sunday Mid-Day. We'd like to speak to you for a story. Please let us know how to get in touch with you. Thank you
@itsalovelyworl3@MumbaiMetro3@rajtoday@mid_day@sundaymidday There’s no direct road from Aarey, our local auto drivers don’t even know where the station is, there is no left turn to head on to jvlr. That is why we have to get down and climb up and those unlit steps and walk in the middle of jvlr traffic. No one can reach the jvlr station
On descending from JVLR, catching an auto to Aarey is another exhausting challenge. There must have been at least 6-7 ppl in this auto and still he was asking others to board. Where will they sit, on top of the auto? Other autos asked for ₹200 to go a distance that costs ₹100
Never seen such insane overcrowding for Pujo in Mumbai. We were not allowed to exit the @NBDurgapuja pandal at Juhu for a bit at 2am as organisers shut the gates to keep more people from entering. Venue bursting at the seams on Nabami, unlike previous days
