@FinPlanKaluAja1 Wise words from a decent man.
Wrote an article on this called: The Learned Behaviour - on tribalism. Let me know what you think.

Grateful for this thoughtful recommendation on my article called: The Learned Behaviour. I wrote this piece hoping to start a conversation about what we inherit, what we question, and what we choose to pass on. Thank you for reading.
@Ifedabozz@Karigwe There is no such thing as “Yoruba tax” my bro. Never heard of it until today, and don’t agree. And you haven’t seen any criticism from me 🙏🏾
@Ifedabozz@Karigwe One tribes success is another tribes success. If you feel one tribe is dominating one area more, it doesn’t matter because it’s still your success. Get it?
@Ifedabozz@Karigwe I think we sometimes overestimate tribe and underestimate the audience. Nigerians listen to what they enjoy. A great song doesn’t ask what tribe you are before people put it on repeat.
@Karigwe Think it’s down to the organisers who decide who performs and who doesn’t. My point is, when Nigerians represent us globally, it’s a success for the whole country to share.
@Michae1Hinrichs@leaving_tech@rand_longevity That’s a fair distinction. I agree that humans naturally form groups. My argument is that the fear, prejudice and hostility attached to those groups are largely learned. If they can be learned, they can also be unlearned. That’s where my optimism comes from.
