Our friend and #CLL patient @deborah_sims tested positive for #COVID19 in March 2022 – something she’d been dreading since she started venturing out during the pandemic.

@CLLAdvocates@LeukaemiaAus Thanks for sharing CLLAN - I hope it reassure others that getting early intervention makes a difference for even the most vulnerable of us
Fantastic news - the combination which saved my life is now available for patients frontline who are unfit for chemotherapy - this is the 4th PBS listing in 18 months for CLL - thanks to @greghuntmp for all he’s doing for blood cancer patients
From Dec 1, breakthrough medicine Venclexta® will be expanded on the PBS for patients living with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia
Without subsidy, 500 patients each year would pay more than $69,000 per course of treatment.
They will now pay $41 or $6.60 with a concession card.
@MichaelRynne1@JanRynne@NYLCandCLL@CllIreland@CllSociety Thanks so much Michael - you and Jan do so much for blood cancer patients in Ireland - can’t wait to see you again post Covid - hope you’re staying safe - I’ll keep you updated with how I’m going - lots of love xxx
@GregHuntMP @10NewsFirst Wonderful news. I’m about to enter a clinical trial of another new treatment thanks to you but it’s wonderful to know if it doesn’t work this will be the next option for me. That’s 4 treatments in 18 months you’ve listed for CLL which have directly changed my life - thank you!
