@creativemuffin @hankgreen I’m glad to read it was caught so quick! A week after I finished chemo-radiation, I experienced severe difficulty breathing going downstairs for mail. Called the Rad nurses & was told to bring snacks and water w/ me to the ER. 22hrs. Was treated for clots that’d got to my lungs.

Pretty much all of the alternatives can, last I checked… in 2020 when Zoom first blew up and showed who they were with all the sketchy coding and crap Terms of Use even then. The alts raced to compete, so by now there’s likely way better but Zoom has name recognition.

@PamR413 @EconoBen @hankgreen I had both. The tattoos made reapplying the sharpies easier and faster.

I just wish they’d not chosen a colour sharpie the day they did the tattoos, as now my tats are tinted green can’t/won’t be mistaken for beauty marks.

@k_zac @Ebonyteach I believe it was a result of channel surfing or someone else watching. I’m just glad I figured out early it wasn’t from The Princess Bride and got to enjoy that movie. All that to say, 80s/90s fantasy practical effects & makeup were terrifying. 2/end.

@k_zac @Ebonyteach All I remembered for a long time was the (repeat) nightmare. I didn’t know what movie it was from or that David Bowie was the scary guy until I was an adult. In hs I saw a bit of Willow and thought it was from that. I don’t think I’ve actually seen either film in full. 1/

@nfray20 @michaelharriot I cut up and freeze the rest for smoothies/slushes. Useful in place of ice cubes too. The less flavourful pieces get blended with other ripe frozen fruit.

People prioritize differently—for example those with power and money tend to prioritize those things more than the wellbeing of others and themselves 2/

It doesn’t have to be either/or. I get that politicians have and continue to feign like they can’t, but that’s bull.

A bf once decided he wanted to learn to French braid and it coincided with my hair being straight at the time, twas lovely. But when curly? Pros only.

@love2cum4women @PinkPinkpetunia @zenakire @ChefJonKung Max approx 13spf, and that varies by shade. That’s not nearly enough to protect from skin damage. Ex, those “age freckle’s” of Morgan Freeman? Sun damage. It’s not necessarily “harder to see”, it’s mistaken as normal and ignored.

@MithenZoe That said, the s slur is further along in the process of being recognized as a slur than the two you brought up. That’s the difference.

Also key is how a word has been/is being used, and how far the alternative usage has been adopted. Ex, mad= very angry (outside of UK). 2/2

@MithenZoe A lot of words in use shouldn’t be used. Just because there are *a lot* doesn’t mean it can’t or shouldn’t be changed. All it means is it that it will take time.

Bringing up “crazy” and “mad” is whataboutism (derailment of the topic at hand). 1/2
