We need to respect the fact that it is possible to know without knowing why we know and accept that - sometimes - we are better off that way --Malcom Gladwell.
Absolutely true. A daughter’s first understanding of love, respect, and relationships often begins by watching how her father treats her mother and those around him.
A real man leads with kindness, responsibility, patience, and respect. The greatest lesson a father can give his daughter is not just what he tells her, but the example he sets every day.
If you're a father to a little girl, remember that everything you do and say to her mother teaches your daughter what to expect from a man.
Be a positive example!
Legally,they are exempted.
The law was already passed in 2025. To give parents of children living with disability tax exemptions.
More than a year later, the National Treasury and CS Mbadi and NCPWD have refused to put in place the regulations needed for them to access the exemption.
I find that extremely unfair to families who are already carrying such a heavy burden.
Once the meat has been chewed, of what use is the bone to a dog 🦴
Is it still the green city under the sun?
At the very minimum, can we agree to stop the cutting down of mature trees in the City?
It started with “pruning”, now it is full blown destruction!
They cut down the acacia trees this week at Kenyatta National Hospital. The marabou storks that had nested there for decades didn’t have anywhere to go😭😭😭. Some died. Some got injured. All because nobody thought to check what was living in those branches first.
This is what happens when “development” skips the wildlife-sensitivity conversation entirely. Nairobi keeps growing, but does it have to keep growing over everything else that was already here?
Environmental assessments before tree removal shouldn’t be optional. They should be law am speaking for them, can someone hear me please 😭😭😭
How do you justify spending KSh 104 billion on a controversial SHA software project while public hospitals struggle with medicine shortages, inadequate equipment, and patients reportedly waiting for care in overcrowded facilities?
How do you justify allocating over KSh 10 billion to State House renovations while thousands of children continue to learn in dilapidated classrooms with leaking roofs and inadequate learning materials?
Who authorized farming inside Amboseli National Park? who planted tomatoes and sprayed them with cyanide, killing 15 elephants, arrest everyone and feed them with the remaining tomatoes.
This is the gate and fence of State House Nairobi. Why would the people who work here accept this type of thing for 2 weeks.
Beyond the cutting of the trees (which is wrong ) why is there no clean up crew?
Who is in charge of this ???
This Government is moves like a headless chicken. Now, there is a proposal at advanced levels to regulate minimum taxi hailing fares from about Ksh 220 to between Ksh 500 and 600, almost tripple the current amount. This is a brainless move that will cost @boltapp, @uber_kenya, and the very same drivers they claim to want to "protect". People will have to look for cheaper methods.
Currently there is no pesticide sold in KE legally that has Cyanide in it. Someone is mining in the Amboseli and that Cyanide ingestion by 15 Elephants is evidence of it.
Someone planted tomatoes in the national park and sprayed them with enough cyanide to kill fully grown Elephants. They think we are 53 Million idiots. 😒🙂↕️
Today, Friday, 23rd 2019, I handed the new title deed to the land back to the Government through the Busia County Commissioner.
The new Title Deed has been dispatched to The PS Lands who in turn will submit it to the PS Treasury to hold it in trust for the people of Kenya.
Article 62 says public land belongs to the people of Kenya, not to those in government. National and county governments are trustees. They must protect this land for present and future generations.
Every Kenyan has a duty to defend our Constitution and hold public officials accountable. Where the law is ignored, the courts remain the proper place to seek justice. Our land is our heritage. Let us protect it for our children and for generations to come.
Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah wants High Court to declare tallying and verification at the National Tallying Centre illegal, says results announced at the Constituency level are final.
Why is the whole country experiencing blackout? Is KPLC complicit? Is there something that is being exported out of or imported into JKIA? Gold, Ivory, Ballot Papers, Weapons to Sudan, US Dollars cash???
Something nefarious maybe happening!
