@tesla_na The autopilot computer will fail within 5 years, like my model 3 did, and they asked 3400 dollars to replace it! Outrageous! A solid state main computer unit should not fail within just 5 years and within 45000 miles, the quality of the car is very bad @tesla_na@elonmusk@Tesla
@RapidResponse47 These "American-made" cars fail so easily unfortunately. My Model 3 main computer just burnt after 4 years of use, right out of warranty, like a cellphone, and they asked me 3400 dollars to replace! This is not a wear/tear part and the main computer in a vehicle shouldn't fail!!
@xAstroDadx@SawyerMerritt@Tesla multiple people have the same experience as me, face the fact, Tesla cars are just not something you should own but just lease at the most, because these parts will fail after 3,4,5 years easily, will never be as robust as Toyota in a long run unfortunately. And it's too pricy!!
@elonmusk@BasedMikeLee But your FSD computer quality is so bad and fails right after it is out of warranty. Tesla wants me to pay for $3400 to replace the burnt ECU which is not a wear/tear part! My M3 is less than 5 yrs and less than 50K miles, and a major car part should never fail that fast! @Tesla
@BullTheoryio normal people are actually suffering! My Model 3 Autopilot computer completely died under 50k miles. Solid-state safety hardware shouldn't suffer catastrophic failure this early, but service refuses a goodwill repair for the $3,400 bill since it failed after 4 years! Outrageous!
@steve66528972@Tesla@elonmusk@TeslaService mine was just out of warranty, still under 50000 miles but a little more than 4 years. these critical hardware cannot just fail, I am going to file and NHTSA case since this is a safety issue: AEB is not working @Tesla@TeslaService
@elonmusk My Model 3 Autopilot ECU completely died under 50k miles (Multiple dasMIA alerts). Solid-state safety hardware shouldn't suffer catastrophic failure this early, but service refuses a goodwill repair for the $3,400 bill. Needs an engineering review!
A safety hardware shouldn't have a catastrophic lifecycle failure this early. Tesla wants $3,400 to fix it,but a safety-critical ECU failing this early deserves a fair review and goodwill coverage, please HELP! @Tesla@TeslaService@AustinTeslaClub@TeslaOwner@DirtyTesLa

As a proud EX-Tesla Employee and Tesla owner, I Love my Model 3, but hit a devastating issue just outside the 4-year window. At under 50k miles, the primary Autopilot ECU suffered a catastrophic failure @Tesla@elonmusk@TeslaOwner@AustinTeslaClub@DirtyTesLa@TeslaService
@ATT I got billed Administrative & Regulatory Cost Recovery Fee even that I transferred all my numbers out and closed the account before 4/1 which is the end of the billing cycle. Your CS said i need to close exactly at 4/1 and cannot be before 4/1, what BS is this????!!!!
