LIGHT IS DESTROYING YOUR DOPAMINE
This clip comes from our recent podcast over @Decentralizedd_ with the great @jack_schroder_
Dopamine isn’t just the “feel good” chemical. It plays a role in autonomic tone. And low dopamine signaling is connected to symptoms of fatigue, brain fog and zero motivation with the inability to recover from even the smallest of activities
In this episode we explore many nuances around mitochondrial health and its root in many chronic conditions
Our light environment being one of the most important pillars for optimization

Just recorded two incredible podcast episodes this week with @DTHshow and @Decentralizedd_
Keep an eye out for them dropping the next few weeks
Would love to keep the momentum going while I have some time off, if anyone else wants to record something just shoot me a message
🚨NEW PODCAST w/@jack_schroder_
Every biology teacher lied to you 👇
Not on purpose, but mitochondria being the “powerhouse of the cell“ left out maybe the most important part of mitochondria
✅ Today we interviewed @jackschroder_ on @Decentralizedd_ about what mitochondria are really doing the body, and how to optimize them to build real resilience

Here’s what you may not know:
Mitochondria are environmental sensors first. Energy transformers second.
They are continuously, reading, incoming signals from your environment, light, temperature, magnetic field, deuterium levels in water, redox states. And they’re adjusting your biology in real time based on what they detect.
Inside the inner membrane, electrons move through approaching complexes at speeds that classical chemistry can explain. Quantum tunneling, proton coherence, the kind of physics that covers photosynthesis in plants is happening inside your cells right now.
For example, your mitochondria respond to light 👇
Sunlight hits your skin 👉 cytochrome c oxidase absorbs red, and near infrared photons 👉 electron flow accelerates 👉 ATP & CO2 increase + cellular water 👉 melatonin is made locally inside the mitochondria itself
Now flip it
Living in unnatural environments around artificial light, artificial, magnetic field, artificial food, and that’s a recipe for disaster within the mitochondria

You wouldn't need a GLP-1 if you didn't live under blue light all day
That's a bold claim.
But the deeper you go into how these drugs actually work, the more you realize circadian biology was already running the same program
The metabolic overlap nobody too few are talking about.

What are all these symptoms and why can't I get them under control? Here's one concept you may have never considerd...
Your immune system isn't just "on" or "off"
It has two modes. Two generals if you will. Two completely different weapon systems
And in almost every chronic illness patient i've met, one of them is stuck in overdrive
This is the TH1/TH2 story. And it explains why people stay sick for years without anyone connecting the dots

Most people think tanning beds are just a convenient version of the sun. Hint they’re not, not even close. 👇
Here’s what’s actually happening in your body when you step outside into real sunlight.
👀 Your eyes and skin receive a full spectrum of light. UV, yes. But also infrared, near infrared, visible light, blue light, red light. The whole picture. Your body uses that full conversion to regulate hormones, say your internal clock, build vitamin D properly, and signal your immune system system.
Tanning beds on the other hand, emit a narrow slice of that spectrum. Mostly UVA, sometimes a bit of UVB, but that’s it. You’re body is getting one instrument from an orchestra and wondering why the song sounds off
Here’s why that matters: UVB is what drives vitamin D synthesis & melanin. UVA is helps drive melanin production (your tan), nitric oxide, etc. In nature, these arrived together. The ratio between them along with the other wavelength of light such as red and infrared is part of the signal. Strip away those other wavelengths and what do you get? Input chaos
Infrared and near infrared light from the sun aren’t cosmetic extras either. They precondition your mitochondria, they reduce oxygen of stress before UV exposure even begins. Without them, your cells are receiving UV hit with no buffer. That’s upstream damage.
There’s also a circadian angle nobody talks about. Light enters your eyes and hits your retina, where intrinsically photo sensitive cells send timing signals to your suprachismatic nucleus, the master clock. Those cells are turned to full spectrum input. A tanning bed in a windowless room, wearing goggles, that’s circa noise at best.
The tan you get from a bed is a stress response without the full biological context that makes it adaptive

You can’t stand by the circadian framework while simultaneously upholding the belief that sunbathing inherently increases your risk of skin cancers + skin damage

PCOS was just reclassified as a metabolic condition (finally).
Most people read that headline and thought: cool, now what?
Here's what that actually means, why it changes everything about how we understand this condition, and why "metabolism" is not what most people think it is.

The biological effects of non-ionizing EMF are more settled than you think.
So why is no one in mainstream medicine listening?
Because the science destroys the standard framework used to evaluate it.
Here's what the physics actually says (and why it keeps getting ignored)
