@curtisgulka It amazes me how stupid the politicians must think the general market is. If rent to own was something the market demanded/wanted, don’t you suppose some sharp dude would figure it out and make money on it?
@katesauser14@DwayneMihalicz Please be patient. We bought a townhouse for the kids to attend school, paid 45k under asking price. Timing is everything and stick to your budget. It will work out
@kowalchukfarms1 Man, I LOVED taking used iron out for a demo. New equipment had to be depreciated at too high of a cost. Used iron, I could take it to more customers. And used still gave me the opportunity to talk about new, and maybe get them into a new demo next season
@rgstone1 I remember the head of one earth farms (ceo?) say one time that they made more money after they shrank back to 4k or 5k acres than they did at their max acre base. What was that guy's name again?
What is it with the canadiens? I’ve watched hockey for 40 years. I don’t recall another team that just finds a way. 1993 they won 10 OT games. How is that possible? Being outplayed massively tonight, and now they’re tied? How ?
@JSeimes@RamTrucksCanada If it’s any consolation, ford does that too. Drives me batshit. How hard is it to machine a rim smooth where mud might build up??!?!
@BHryniuk@bigmothufacking Right? From my days in ag retail 20 years ago, that would have been the end of the business. Pretty tough to come back from that
@BHryniuk@bigmothufacking If my memory serves me correctly, I think the Simmonds family is involved in agriteam. The baffled location was purchased from the same family. I would expect some good faith was involved in those purchases. Not sure of that tho
@kowalchukfarms1 What I have seen in my 40 years supplying ag, doesn’t seem to matter big or small. The operation that justifies purchases based on “shady” metrics tend to feel more pain in a downturn. The bill always comes due, and when cash tightens, credit becomes harder to get
