@SaysSimulation So Russia can’t force a concession from Ukraine after years of fighting, and you think Europe should be worried that Russia will come after them next?
@OneHappyDestiny Why can’t you love both sobriety and drinking, and find a relatively healthy balance between the two? I.e., acceptance, enjoyment of both and either?
@Jackalopel21915 @coreymmaddocks Probably not. Food protection regs are neutral and applied equally, so likely subject to a rational basis review. Even if it is considered to target religious practices a court would likely find the food regulation to be justified by a legit govt interest/concern
@coreymmaddocks @FreeStateColor1 No local govt is going to apply time/temperature regulations to already baked bread. Unless there are reported incidents of food poisoning (which is ultimately the aim of the bill- to prevent food poisoning and perhaps to ensure safer tamale/burrito sales)
@FreeStateColor1 What is harmful about the increased cap? It seems that the changes to the act are aimed at regulating the time and temperature sensitive foods and aren’t some dramatic change for small farm stands and producers. Seems reasonable and was a bipartisan effort.
@FreeStateColor1 Read it closely: The bill only applies for producers who gross $150,000 or more in year, increased from $10,000 or more. So, the law this actually limits the cottage foods act and limits state regulation to only those larger producers, limiting govt regulation of bakers this this
@chassiskat My bills have gone down a decent amount by switching to TOU and a smart meter and being aware when the market price of power is higher. Glad I switched.
