The MCU getting reception like this from critics for their shows and those shows still being deemed slop and that being used as justification for them not existing from fans is beyond stupid.
Actually it's easily gonna be the dumbest decision they've made in a long time. Fuck the quantity over quality narrative bullshit the vast majority of the Disney Plus shows are quality. The Disney Plus shows were the best part of the Multiverse saga.
It’s really unfortunate that we’re losing out on one of the best storytelling outlets, more diverse stories, and an actual full cinematic universe because people decided to be annoying.
Renting a movie from Blockbuster was half the entertainment. Walking up and down those aisles trying to decide what to take home was an experience streaming will never recreate.
So I went to see Supergirl again just to see if my original review/ opinion changed or to see if I missed something or read too much into Kara’s character arc. There were three teen girls with their dad. As they walked past me, leaving the theater, one of them sighed “I love her!” The other two chimed in with “I know! Right!”
So I kind of don’t care if I was right or wrong at this point. That dad and his kids had a damned good time and those girls have a hero. That’s good enough for me.
One thing I love though is that Louis clearly romanticized Lestat and Lestat clearly believes that Louis is the coolest person in the room. The both narrate their love for each other even when they probably don’t mean to
