@moceanworker @vurnt22 Playing music together is nothing if not the very act of agreeing with each other. On tempo, on feel, on dynamics, tonality, variations, on where to go next, on when and how to end. smh
@moceanworker Hmmm... I kinda see a possible @reasonstudios community song-challenge forming here. Give people an AI album cover and everyone makes the type of music they think is on that album. 🤔
@misterfielding @reasonstudios For the sake of convenience and NOT expecting you to watch a 3.5 hour livestream, I've got that link timestamped to the part where I mention you and your packs. :)
@misterfielding @reasonstudios You probably didn't catch the last Objekt livestream I did but I showed some music that I do for the game Valorant and the latest menu music uses two of your R+ combinators :) https://t.co/bTLsxHGD3E
@moceanworker @wayslower Let's not forget that Mike Campbell wrote it as a way to learn how to use the Linn Drum machine, making it easily one of the top grossing 'what does this button do' learning curves of all time. The only learning curve in Kokomo was looking at map for more island rhymes.
@LeDoctor Any chance you can confirm (or point me towards someone) that the latest Indiana Jones logo has a subtle motif of the iconic hat between the I and N of Indiana and the J and O of Jones? See pic. That's a deliberate design choice right?
@mollytuttle@_soundemporium_ I literally just clicked to settings cog wheel on this video to make sure I wasn't at 1.5x speed. It was indeed playing at regular speed. 🤯
@joshmobleymusic@framer Okay cool I'll try it out. I was building last night in Squarespace and wasn't blown away. Last time I made a site I coded it all myself by hand but these days with HTML5, mobile compatibility, and other modern needs I'm ready to give in to the build services and pay the premium!
@joshmobleymusic@framer oh but, i thought framer was the AI site builder I was talking about. Is there something else? And did you therefore use Framer for your site?
@moceanworker that looks super interesting, elevated even more by living in the midst of silicon valley and the 21st century bay area problems that stemmed from that history and ongoing policy
@joshmobleymusic I've stored stuff for years but the annoying truth is that nothing is safe long term. If it's critical, backing up on fresh media every few years and a redundant cloud solution is wiser, but that's "do as I say, not as I do." I live dangerously (and get burned by it sometimes)
