👋 Meet Khadija Hussein, an Indigenous leader from Kenya's Isiolo County, she works to strengthen the role of women in the Nasuulu and Kinna community conservancies through leadership and financial literacy training.

Community Conservancies play a key role in environmental conservation, security, and uplifting livelihoods through initiatives like Ujuzi Manyattani. Today, I hosted French Ambassador Arnaud Suquet at Cherab Community Conservancy, highlighting our achievements and opening new offices at Korbesa.

Thanks to French Development Agency (AFD) and the @NRT_Kenya for their support. We will continue to strengthen our partnership for the benefit of Isiolo.

I urge the people of Isiolo to support conservation efforts to combat climate change and assure them that the community land registration process is firmly on track.

We would like to bring to the attention of @DCI_Kenya and the general public the abduction of three young men in Isiolo. We note with concern that these unconstitutional abductions persist amidst perpetual denials by Government officials in charge of security over their occurrences. This matter has been reported as OB29/06/07/2024. We demand an immediate investigation into this complaint and prosecution of the criminals perpetrating abduction of citizens.

A few months ago, we raised some concerns about @NRT_Kenya and how they engage with wards that are not under their jurisdiction. Our grievances didn't fall on deaf ears. Today they conducted a training to sensitize youths consortium on their thematic areas. @TomLalampaa
