I have a story from the 90’s. As the manager of an outpatient pharmacy I had lunch with the president of the hospital. The hospital also owned the PPO. Only Ventolin instead of Proair was covered on the plan. I’m so niave that I also questioned why my pharmacy only profited $1 on the dispensing of this med and the info training that went along with it. The PPO made $5 for placing it on the approved list. He said the PPO told him to meet with me a few times and then I will give up. I did give up that fight, but went in eventually to provide education for patients ti get off meds. It was before its time but what I learned. Use your STEMSS for health. Sunshine, thinking, eating, moving, sleeping and supplements until you don’t need them. Our flower will bloom!
@pynkdiamond76 Sometimes it’s just a decision to cook instead of scroll, to shop instead of text and to forget about what others think and buy something affordable.
@RealFletch17@RobertKennedyJr@MAHA_Action Finally exposed in a setting that will break this monopoly apart and make sick care well care again. Payment for outcomes.
@MaryBowdenMD There will be those times that an underlying condition is not discovered until something more serious is developing. Large kidney stone or cystitis. Make more Urgent Care facilities 24 hours
