The first time I ever put a camera on a scope, it was M42, but Orion season was at an end. Taking that picture gave me the push into #astrophotography.
This is my first "proper" attempt, so it's not perfect (core, ahem!). Almost missed it again due to clouds π #Space
Supposed to rain later, but I wanted to test the @Seestar_astro s30 pro on the sun. Pretty cool. As they say in bugs life, don't look at the light, not without a special filter. Or something like that π. #Astrophotography#Sun
The Crescent Nebula. This was about 2 hours worth of 10s subs from the @Seestar_astro S30pro. Turned out pretty well considering I'm just pointing this out of a flat window in Alt-Az mode. #seestar#space#astrophotography
First light through the new @Seestar_astro S30 Pro. Got this set up, pointing out of my flat window and taking a pic in 10 minutes. Turned out quite well actually. Look forward to getting a proper go when I have a back garden available and clear skies. #astrophotography#seestar
@AstroBackyard You dreamt of the gear at the start, I'm just dreaming of having a garden to be able to use my gear I already bought π. Always cracking images Trevor.
Seeing as we are heading to the moon, this was when I went to the moon, through my telescope in 2023. I framed it this way to feel like you were orbital. #MoonHour#space#astrophotography
@jaume_zapata Thanks that's very kind of you to say. Am barely able to get out, so still just beginning really, but happy so far. Keep up the good stuff mate ππΌ
