@Fooligan40 @sage_astr Thanks! For the scope, mount and astronomy camera probably about £1500 thats all 2nd hand from Ebay. The scope is called a skymax 180. But even with a (relatively) cheap scope (£100-£200), you can see Jupiter and its moons and Saturn and its rings. Also, the moon is amazing!

@Fooligan40 @sage_astr I bought my son a £100 telescope one Christmas, as soon as I saw Saturn I was hooked. I've bought 2 more scopes since then. My son still isn't interested!

@SharpStarAstro I'd say my mono images are only slightly better than my colour ones. I was just trying to find a way of improving my images without getting a new scope!

@susan_snowy Nice! I saw French guy I follow post that he had captured "The Croissant nebula". I thought, there isn't a "Croissant Nebula". Then it clicked... That's when I realised why a Croissant is called a Croissant!
