@MaryRoseMalomo I was in JSS 2 the first time I read that book, it rage baited me a lot, I kept hoping for the "joy" until I turned the final page and was like "what the hell?" That book and Flora Nwapa's Efuru were my introduction to feminism and feminist works

Answer: Yes, Islam states so.

Question: Is it permissible for me to support my husband financially?

Answer: Yes, you can support him, and remember Umm al-Mu'minin Khadijah bint Khuwaylid RA, who supported the Prophet Muhammad SAW with all her wealth.

Note: As men, we should always pray to Allah to grant us the ability to manage our financial obligations without expecting support from our wives. This is one of the reasons we are considered the heads of the family.
