The GST Portal crashed on August 11, 2023, on the due date for filing GSTR-1 in India.

Many were unable to File GSTR-1.

Thus, many genuine recipients were unable to see their credit in GSTR-2B.

What will happen to their credit?
Now they need to discharge this liability in cash for this month and claim this credit next month.

What will happen to GST Cash Collection?
Of course, it will result in new record collections, and many experts will declare that the economy is healthy.

We have received a heart-wrenching complaint from Mr. Sunil Prem Kumar Jaiswal, who is pleading for immediate help and justice. This individual is in dire need of assistance from the police and the #BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation). We are sharing his story in the hopes of shedding light on his plight and urging the authorities to take prompt action.

📍 Landmark: Near Shree Shiv Sai Mandir

According to Mr. Jaiswal, his neighbors, namely Sama Altaf Shaikh, Razak Altaf Shaikh, and Naaz Shaikh, have encroached upon his property. Specifically, they have illegally constructed a stairway adjacent to his bathroom without authorization. Despite numerous complaints filed with both the police department and the BMC, no action has been taken to address this issue.

Furthermore, the situation escalated to physical violence when the victim was severely beaten by his neighbor's contractor, Asad. The incident was reported to the Oshiwara Police Station, and an NC (Non-Cognizable) case, numbered NC.1938/2022 dated 16/07/2022, was registered. However, no further action has been taken.

This continued negligence from the Municipal Corporation and the lack of intervention from the police have enabled the neighbor and the contractor to harass the victim, creating an environment of constant tension and threat to his property.

We are urging the authorities through our news channel to conduct a thorough investigation into this matter and ensure justice is served to Mr. Jaiswal. We hold the administration responsible for any untoward incidents that may occur in the future.

The @mybmc Public Relations Office in the last & present tender document have systematically diluted the "grievance redressal mechanism" operations & we will demonstrate this with documentery evidence relying upon the TENDER DOCUMENT & Purchase Orders itself!
The agency which was first appointed originally for a period of 3years to run the social media operations was removed in year 2022. Subsequently, the tender published has been stripped of its real essence of grievance redressal and turned into a PR activity. The PRO who has published the tender shall be put to scrutiny.

URGENT: Police Brutality at Antop Hill Police Station.

A shocking incident of police brutality has come to light at the HKS Legal Office in Mumbai, where advocates Sadhna Yadav and Harikesh Sharma were brutally beaten. The Antop Hill police's cruelty has sparked outrage among local citizens, demanding strict action against them.

According to the information received, on Friday afternoon, Adv. Sadhna Yadav went to the public restroom when someone locked the door from the outside. She immediately called the emergency number, and the police arrived shortly. However, when they reached the police station to file a complaint, the officers did not take her statement seriously. Instead, they started using abusive language. Both advocates were then locked up and subjected to severe beatings. Shockingly, despite being a female advocate, Sadhna Yadav was beaten by a male police officer, who mercilessly assaulted her with a belt, hands, and shoes. As a result, she suffered a fracture in her leg.

The police officer continuously subjected them to physical and mental harassment from 03:00 PM to 11:30 PM. When concerned citizens reached the police station to inquire about their whereabouts, the police tried to scare them away by brandishing a baton. They were not allowed to meet Sadhna Yadav and Harikesh Sharma until 8:30 PM. The news of their ordeal spread through social media, and subsequently, lawmakers, journalists, and RTI activists arrived at the station. Finally, Sadhna Yadav and Harikesh Sharma were allowed to meet them, leading to the exposure of the brutality committed by the Antop Hill police.

Senior Police Inspector Nasir Kulkarni of the police station, going against the law and order, forced both advocates to sign a letter stating that they would not file any complaints against his colleagues. Only after paying a fine of Rs. 1200, collected by concerned citizens, were they released. Later, they were taken to the hospital for a medical examination.

This incident of police brutality is outrageous and demands immediate action. We must raise our voices against such abuse of power and demand justice for Sadhna Yadav and Harikesh Sharma. Let us unite against police brutality and ensure that those responsible are held accountable. As soon as our news channel received information about this incident, our editor attempted to contact the Senior Police Officer at Antop Hill twice to obtain their perspective, but their calls went unanswered.
