The SIT arrested Veeresh Jain in Bengaluru for allegedly being involved in supplying fake anticancer medicines to more than 90 hospitals and clinics in Bengaluru, allegedly offering them at discounts of around 50 percent. Jain had been running this business for the last five years. His pharmacy allegedly repacked fake and expired medicines and relabelled them as drugs from big brands.

How many hundreds of men, women, and children in the last five years have fought with everything they had, kept their spirits up, and thought that staying positive would help the chemo work better, only to be handed a death sentence wrapped in counterfeit packaging? How many families emptied their life savings to buy bottled salt water while their loved ones faded away?

The most horrific part is that this is not an isolated case. It is happening with complete impunity across the country, only coming to light on the rare occasion that someone actually gets caught.

Dehati taxi drivers have now started stopping random cars, asking whether they are BlaBlaCar.

They harass people who book BlaBlaCar. Local RTOs sometimes also challan these vehicles, saying, “Commercial license nahi hai.”

Any good thing that helps the middle class without getting them robbed by the government or government-sponsored Dehatis is targeted.

There will always be a politician who, in order to get their votes, will try to ban BlaBlaCar.

People use BlaBlaCar instead of intercity taxis because the prices quoted by taxi drivers are insane.

They charge customers for the return journey as well, even if it is a one-way ride, and then wait at the stand to find other customers.

Because this class of drivers, carpenters, plumbers, and electricians in metro cities is often completely unethical in their profession, people naturally look for alternatives where the services are more standardised.

यह मेरा निजी अनुभव है और आप सबने भी ऑब्जर्व किया होगा कि सनातन से निकले सारे सम्प्रदायों के मंदिर, देवालय बहुत ही बेहतर ढंग से संचालित होते हैं।

वहीं लोकल पंडों द्वारा संचालित होने वाले तमाम मंदिरों की स्थिति ऐसी है कि अब गम्भीर श्रद्धालु वहाँ पैर तक नहीं रखते। दक्षिण के अनेक मठों द्वारा संचालित मंदिरों में भी उचित प्रबंधन है लेकिन इस्कॉन वगैरह के सामने नहीं टिक सकते।

इसलिए आप इन मंदिरों और इस्कॉन जाने वाले क्राउड के क्लास का भी फर्क स्प्ष्ट देखेंगे

No one is coming to protect your health. Big brands can fool people with strong marketing, and incidents like this show that clearly.

Don’t blindly trust anything that impacts your health. Verify if you can. Switch to things you really trust.

FSSAI gives licenses to anyone. I know brands that work out of their homes as their official address, which means the license was giving on a residential address. License is not a guarantee.

सतना: सड़क दुर्घटना में रामनगर निवासी कमलेश रावत का पैर टूट गया था. प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद उसे 108 एंबुलेंस से सतना जिला अस्पताल भेजा गया. रास्ते में तबीयत बिगड़ने के कारण मरीज को उल्टियां हो गईं, जिससे एंबुलेंस गंदी हो गई.

जैसे ही एंबुलेंस जिला अस्पताल के मुख्य गेट पर पहुंची, एंबुलेंस चालक ने संवेदनहीनता की सारी हदें पार करते हुए मरीज की पत्नी से ही एंबुलेंस धुलवाने का काम करवा दिया.
