BRTS bus stop of Science City is at the cross road which is making it difficult to take a left turn for the vehicles coming from the Ring Road.
If the location of the stand is shifted, it would be a great convenience.

Upon my husband’s safe return from Mount K2, following the tragic Broad Peak avalanche just few kms away in the Karakoram Range, where the two mountains share neighboring base camp areas, I wanted to pen a personal note-

Today, I am incredibly proud of my husband.

Mountaineering has shaped him in the best possible ways over the years.

He has become more disciplined, dedicated, calm, pragmatic, committed, humble, courageous, simple and built a deep respect- for the mountains, for mother nature, for his family, for his community, for his country and for life itself.

What makes me proudest is that, above every summit, he has always placed safety first for his team and himself as his prime principle in climbing.

Sometimes, the bravest decision in mountaineering is not reaching the summit, but knowing when to turn back.

I am grateful to have witnessed the person this journey has made him today.

Our deepest condolences on the tragic loss of the great Nirmal Purja Dai -a son of Nepal, a true legend and an extraordinary mountaineer whose great legacy cannot be re-written by anyone. Our heartfelt condolences also go to all the remarkable climbers who lost their lives in this tragedy.

But the subtext here is that there is an emergent tension between Indic diaspora and Indians in India -- slowly the two communities' interests are diverging and there may come a point (or it is here already) where Indians in India will have to be wary of commentary that comes out of the diaspora.
