The final day of the school! We had @dmolch111 giving a talk on Bayesian Neural Networks followed by a practical session on Bayesian NNs for sparsification by @senya_ashuha

And the last speaker of the school was @dmolch111 once again, presenting some of our research on loss surfaces of Neural Networks.

Finally, we were visited by Francisco J. R. Ruiz who gave a keynote talk on some recent research regarding more expressive variational distributions for Variational Inference and how MCMC could be of use there.

There's no way our school could get away without some MCMC lectures.

The day has started with Dmitry Kropotov giving a primer on MCMC methods followed by a practical session led by @yanushviktor

Next, @k_neklyudov gave a lecture on Langevin dynamics for sampling and optimization

Finally, another keynote: @sbos gave a talk on AdaGram -- an Adaptive skip-gram model

Today was a Bayesian Nonparametrics day!

We started with Gaussian Processes and Bayesian Optimization by @burnaevevgeny and @yeahrmek -- our colleagues from @ADASEgroup.

Next, @MaurizioFilip19 deepened the GP discussion by giving a keynote talk on Deep Gaussian Processes

Finally, students got to present their own research as well as see some of the most recent works of lecturers.

Today was a generative models day! First, @eozakharov gave a talk and a practical session on Generative Adversarial Networks

Then, @senya_ashuha introduced students to normalizing flows. Again, the lecture was followed by a practical session.
