Due to changing circumstances, DCR is selling the D9H and all attachments. It requires a new crankshaft after a recent failure, which we are not in a position to repair. For the right mechanically minded person, this machine will give many years of service. Please DM to discuss.
Have a hundred odd ton of Samira Fababeans that are old seasons stock so are discolored, I'll test for germination if anyone wants a supply of seed at a more reasonable price. I will buy lupins instead. Please retweet.
@mickswarb Client paddock samples indicated between 600-800mm to top clay horizon with gravel in between. Have high hopes once this is properly incorporated with the spader.
@Marbarrup@kentstone85@Tucsy438@SBPowles@alecjohn17 DCR have had internal discussions on expanding to tile laying as an integrated rip/lay system. If genuine interest, we would like to hear from those with water logging / salinity problems that may benefit from subsurface drainage systems. Cheers
DCR planning for 2019 slip plough season in the Esperance area from mid Feb. Drop me a DM if you’re interested to find out more. Cheers and RTs appreciated!
Noticeable signs of the deep ripping program showing benefits. Un-ripped headlands(foreground)look like producing half as much grain as country ripped to 500mm.
@SteveCocking1@longmire_tom Have been thinking of ways to quantify it with weight s before and after etc, but we had huge sheets peeling off the centre tine in GrassPatch that I wouldn’t want to be under. The deeper you are into the clay the more you’ll get. It’s not enough just to skim the top.
@tysviv@NoTillBill Two main reasons. We are tackling very deep duplex sands where delvers can’t penetrate to the clay layer. Also the rippers allow us to go into very hard / abrasive profiles others don’t.
