Subhash Chandra, who has publicly acknowledged his family’s deep roots in the RSS, had ₹22,006 crore in creditor claims settled for a mere ₹6.5 crore.

That is roughly 3 paise per ₹100.

If only such systemic leniency were extended to the roughly 73,683 farmers who have committed suicide after being trapped in the government-policy driven cycle of debt in Maharashtra, and the over 250,000 farmers across India in the last 20 years. That is roughly 10 suicides per day in Maharashtra and 34 per day nationwide!

We live in a country where the enormous debts of the super-rich, friends of the government, can be restructured, written down, or settled for a fraction, while the debts of farmer becomes a death sentence.

"आरएसएस की विचारधारा मूल रूप से वह है जिसे मैं ब्राह्मणवाद कहता हूँ। मैं ब्राह्मण समुदाय के खिलाफ नहीं हूँ... लेकिन ब्राह्मणवाद से मेरा जो अर्थ है, वह संप्रभुता, समानता और बंधुत्व के खिलाफ है। ब्राह्मणवाद का आधार क्या है? ब्राह्मणवाद का आधार मनुस्मृति है। मनुस्मृति आरएसएस के दिल में है। (आरएसएस द्वारा बाबरी मस्जिद गिराए जाने के लिए) 6 दिसंबर को चुनने का कारण क्या था? उस दिन देश ने संविधान के शिल्पकार को अंतिम ���िदाई दी थी... एक तरफ, हम संविधान के शिल्पकार को अपनी श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित कर रहे थे और दूसरी तरफ, आरएसएस इसे जश्न का दिन बनाना चाहता था! यह एक विरोधाभास रहा है और इसीलिए उन्होंने इस तारीख को चुना है। यह आरएसएस की विचारधारा है और यही वह चीज़ है जिससे हमें लड़ना है। हमें मूल रूप से यह समझना होगा कि आरएसएस राष्ट्र-विरोधी और लोकतंत्र-विरोधी ताकतें हैं।"

A couple of days ago, I wrote a post questioning the selective preference upper-caste liberals and feminists show towards words when they are spoken by an upper-caste, as opposed to an Ambedkarite saying the same things. My post questioned the very evident deeply entrenched casteism in their political preferences.

I will give one more recent example to relay my argument.

When the results of Maharashtra Legislative Council elections, held on June 18, this year were announced on June 22, it was found that more than 150 Congress corporators had cross-voted for the BJP-led Mahayuti. In fact, more than 250 Mahavikas Aaghadi corporators cross-voted for the BJP-led Mahayuti.

Was there any outrage by the upper-caste liberals and feminists regarding the questionable role played by the Congress and Mahavikas Aaghadi in helping BJP win?
Were there any questions asked?

VBA had fielded two MLC candidates in Amaravati and Nanded and in both these constituencies, the Mahavikas Aaghadi fielded candidates had been compromised. The Congress Amravati candidate hospitalised himself in ICU in a Nagpur hospital during the campaigning. And, the Shiv Sena UBT Mahavikas Aaghadi fielded a candidate, whose father a day before had switched to the Shinde Sena. Under such political developments, VBA requested Congress to support them against the BJP but the Congress chose not to and what followed was even more disturbing. Despite the whip, Congress’ corporators cross-voted for the BJP-led Mahayuti in Amaravati and Nanded, and even in Nagpur.

Did these upper-caste liberals and feminists call the Congress a B-team of BJP for cross-voting for the BJP-led alliance?

Did they ask why the Congress chose not to give their support to the 2 VBA candidates when they knew their candidates had been compromised?

Did they ask why losing to the BJP was acceptable to Congress, but giving support to the Ambedkarite candidates and making them win was unacceptable?

Imagine the outrage if VBA had committed such a “political crime”. Congress itself committed “vote-chori” to help the BJP-led Mahayuti win.

These upper-caste liberals and feminists are very quick to write and falsely label VBA as BJP’s B-team simply because VBA chooses to contest elections independently. False accusations are fired from every corner and degrading posts are written. But when Congress openly cross-votes for and directly supports the BJP, they sew their mouths shut!

The selective preference for an upper-caste leadership and ignorance for Ambedkarite leadership can conclude only and only thing. That there is casteism in their political preferences. And, more importantly, they champion inclusion only so long as real, structural political power remains locked within the Congress.

आज पुण्यात आदिवासी विद्यार्थ्यांच्या सुरू असलेल्या आंदोलनाला भेट दिली. त्यांच्याशी संवाद साधला. आदिवासी विद्यार्थ्यांसोबत अन्याय झाला, तर आदिवासी विद्यार्थी हा झोपलेला नाहीये. जर सरकारने आदिवासी विद्यार्थ्यांचा निधी चोरण्याचा प्रयत्न केला, त्यांच्या मागण्या धुडकावण्याचा प्रयत्न केला, त्यांचे हक्क हिरवण्याचा प्रयत्न केला, तर आज आदिवासी विद्यार्थी जागा आहे. तो आंदोलन करू शकतो हे त्यांनी दाखवून दिले आहे. विद्यार्थ्यांच्या मागण्या अत्यंत रास्त आहेत.

🔹जिथे आदिवासी वसतिगृह आहे तेथे चांगल्या दर्जाच्या मेस सुरू झाले पाहिजे.

🔹गडचिरोलीमध्ये ज्या आदिवासी विद्यार्थिनींना साप चावला होता, त्यात त्यांचा मृत्यू झाला. त्यांच्या कुटुंबीयांना सरकारने एक कोटी रूपये आर्थिक मदत आणि त्यांच्या घरातील व्यक्तीला सरकारी नोकरी दिली पाहिजे.

🔹आदिवासी कोट्यातून ��दिवासींचे सर्टिफिकेट वापरून जे घुसखोर शिरले आहेत त्यांचे सर्टिफिकेट रद्द करून आदिवासींचे आरक्षण हे फक्त मूळ आदिवासींनाच मिळाले पाहिजे.

🔹आदिवासी वसतीगृहामध्ये सर्वोत्तम सुविधा उपलब्ध झाल्या पाहिजे. चांगल्या दर्जाचे जेवण, बेड, शौचालये उपलब्ध नाहीत, त्याचे ऑडिट झाला पाहिजे आणि विद्यार्थ्यांना सर्वोत्तम सुविधा तातडीने उपलब्ध करून दिल्या पाहिजेत.

🔹मागच्या वर्षी वंचित बहुजन आघाड���ने नाशिक येथे आदिवासी आयुक्तालयासमोर आंदोलन केले होते. त्यात म्हटले होते की, कुंभमेळ्यात आणि लाडक्या बहीण योजनेसाठी मोठ्या प्रमाणात एससी, एसटीचा फंड वळवला जातो याचे ऑडिट करून एससी आणि एसटीचा निधी कुठेही न वळवता एससी आणि एसटींच्या विकासासाठीच वापरला पाहिजे.

🔹 एससी, एसटी विकासाचा निधी भविष्यात एकत्र वळवला जाऊ नये यासाठी कायदा केला पाहिजे.

सरकार म्हणते की, आदिवासी विद्यार्थी जे शासकीय वस्तीगृहातील राहतात त्यांना आंदोलन कर���्याचा अधिकार नाही. असे म्हणणाऱ्या सरकारचा आम्ही धिक्कार करतो.

विद्यार्थ्यांनी नेपाळ, दिल्ली, झारखंड मध्ये दाखवलेले आहे की, जेव्हा विद्यार्थी आंदोलन करतो, तेव्हा सरकारला विद्यार्थ्यांचे म्हणणे ऐकावे लागते.

विद्यार्थ्यांच्या ज्या मागण्या आहेत, त्या मान्य करून घेण्यासाठी वंचित बहुजन आघाडी विद्यार्थ्यांच्या पाठीशी ठामपणे या आंदोनात उभी आहे.

In Pune, Rahul Gandhi rightly criticised the casteist and patriarchal Manusmriti. But, just days earlier, he had declared that he would never let the RSS be finished and vowed to protect RSS’s expression, which propagates the values of the Manusmriti.

Aise kaise chalega? Yeh kya golmaal hai?

Babasaheb had publicly burned the Manusmriti on December 25, 1927, and Ambedkarites, especially women, have critiqued the Manusmriti for decades. Since the late 90s, the women of Bharip Bahujan Mahasangh and now Vanchit Bahujan Aaghadi have marked Manusmriti Dahan Din as Bhartiya Stree Mukti Din. Despite repeated demands from Maharashtra Ambedkarites to declare December 25 as Bhartiya Stree Mukti Din, Congress despite party being in power in the state, Congress never formally condemned the Manusmriti nor acknowledged Bhartiya Stree Mukti Din.

Now, Rahul Gandhi has simply co-opted the vocabulary of the Ambedkarite movement for electoral gains.

The upper-caste feminists, socialists, and liberals ignore Ambedkarites and Dalit feminists but rush to write long, glowing praise for Rahul Gandhi for saying the exact same things Ambedkarites have fought for decades to articulate.

• What does this say about the mainstream political and intellectual class?
• What does this say about their intellectual honesty?
• What does this selective validation say about their persistent preference for upper-caste leadership?
• What does this persistent preference for upper-caste, Congress leadership unmask about a sanitised liberalism that champions inclusion only so long as real, structural political power remains locked within the Congress?

The “anti-reservations” protest in Delhi lays bare a blatant defense of dominant caste status.

Their political statements are wrapped in an unashamed, front-and-center so-called upper-caste identity to weaponise their dominance and fiercely protect the social caste hierarchy against social justice for SCs, STs and OBCs.

Yesterday’s spectacle embodies precisely the anti-national threat Dr. B.R. Ambedkar warned against in his concluding speech to the Constituent Assembly on November 25, 1949.

Babasaheb had argued that castes are inherently anti-national because they fracture social life, institutionalise separation, and generate a continuous cycle of jealousy and antipathy between communities.

Yesterday, when individuals marched under an unashamed, prideful upper-caste political slogans, they are actively practicing that anti-national division!

They weaponised their upper-caste pride and dominance to protect the hierarchical caste system that makes true fraternity impossible.

“…if we wish to become a nation in reality. For fraternity can be a fact only when there is a nation. Without fraternity equality and liberty will be no deeper than coats of paint.”

For Babasaheb, a nation had to be created socially and psychologically. And, that required fraternity. This is where his line about fraternity becomes crucial. Equality cannot survive without fraternity.

A society cannot claim to have achieved fraternity when the dominant castes weaponise their own caste privilege to protest against a social justice policy for SCs, STs and OBCs.

True democracy collapses when the advancement of marginalised and discriminated communities is treated as a direct assault on the dominant caste's dominance.

Without fraternity as a lived reality, equality and liberty are nothing more than a superficial “coat of paint” peeling away at the first sign of social justice.

I have no doubt this protest was politically engineered by the RSS-BJP. But the deafening silence of the Congress leadership is equally damning. When caste privilege is mobilised so openly against social justice, silence is complicity!

मातंग समाज उपवर्गीकरणाच्या प्रश्नावरती एकटा पडला आहे. वाल्मिकी, होलार, चर्मकार समाजाच्या बैठका होऊन त्यामध्ये त्यांचे म्हणणे आहे की, आमचा उपवर्गीकरणाला विरोध आहे.

मातंग समाजाची भूमिका आहे की, उपवर्गीकरण झाले पाहिजे, त्यात सगळा प्रश्न अडकलेला आहे. या प्रश्नाचा तोडगाच काढायचा असेल, तर आरक्षणाची मर्यादा ५० टक्क्यांपर्यंत आहे. उरलेले ५० टक्के खुला आहे, त्यात वर्गीकरणाच्या माध्यमातून न्याय मिळतो.

सरकार एखादे धोरण अर्धवट लागू करू शकत नाही. आदिवासी तर उपवर्गीकरणाच्या विरोधात आहेत आणि एससीमध्ये उघड भांडणे दिसायला ��ागली आहेत.

खुल्या वर्गातील 50 टक्क्याला हे वर्गीकरणाचे धोरण लावले तर हे भांडण मिटून जाईल.

उल्हासनगर में आज वंचित बहुजन आघाड़ी ने उल्हासनगर के वंचित समूह के 32 घरों और मस्जिद पर कार्रवाई की नोटिस के विरोध में भव्य जनआक्रोश आंदोलन किया। हम उल्हासनगर के उन नागरिकों के साथ खड़े हैं, जिन्होंने इस शहर को बसाया है और जिनकी मेहनत से यह शहर बना है। उनके घर हम कभी टूटने नहीं देंगे।

जिन 31 घरों और मस्जिद को कार्रवाई की नोटिस दी गई है, उन नोटिसों को वापस लेकर कार्रवाई तत्काल रोकी जाए।

उल्हासनगर के सभी घरों को नियमित किया जाए। उन लोगों को घर टैक्स, पानी बिल, बिजली बिल जैसे सभी दस्तावेज उपलब्ध कराकर हर व्यक्ति के घर को उसके नाम पर करने का काम सरकार तुरंत करे।

उल्हासनगर में का मंदिर, मस्जिद, गुरुद्वारा, चर्च, पारसियों का फायर टेंपल हो या बुद्ध विहार—उल्हासनगर में जो भी पुरानी धार्मिक संस्था है, उसे स्पेशल विंडो का दर्जा दिया जाए और किसी भी धार्मिक स्थल को हाथ नहीं लगाया जाए। यह वंचित बहुजन आघाड़ी की सरकार से मांग है।

वंचित बहुजन आघाड़ी उल्हासनगर के घरों को बचाने के लिए किए जाने वाले आंदोलन में कंधे से कंधा मिलाकर खड़ी रहेगी। जब किसी के घर पर मुसीबत आएगी, तब वंचित बहुजन आघाड़ी के कार्यकर्ता, नेता, पदाधिकारी और नगरसेवक उन घरों को बचाने के लिए और वंचितों की मदद के लिए लड़ेंगे।

हर एक घर को बचाने के लिए हमें रास्ते पर उतरना होगा और सरकार को बताना होगा कि हम एक भी घर टूटने नहीं देंगे।

या देशात 'मन की बात' सांगणारे पंतप्रधान मोदी यांनी आरएसएस आणि राम माधवला आयएसआय (ISI)चे पदाधिकारी, परराष्ट्र खात्याचे अधिकारी यांच्या बरोबर बोलणी करण्याचा अधिकार दिला होता का?

या देशातील विरोधी पक्षांचे दुर्दैवी आहे की, विरोधी पक्षनेते यांनी भारतीय सुरक्षा आणि राम माधवच्या भेटी बद्दलचे प्रश्न उपस्थित करतांना दिसत नाहीये.

वंचित बहुजन आघाडीला आता राष्ट्रीय प्रश्न उपस्थित करावे लागत आहेत. लोकांना माझे आवाहन आहे की, त्यांनी याविषयी सार्वजनिक ठिकाणी लोकांमध्ये चर्चा करावी आणि सरकारला जाब विचारावा.

शिवसेना पक्ष, चिन्हा बाबत सुरू असलेल��या सुनावणीमध्ये दोन्ही बाजूचे वकील मूळ प्रश्नाला भिडत नाहीयेत. तो म्हणजे, कायद्याने सिव्हिल कोर्टाचा अधिकर क्षेत्र काढून घेतले, तरच तो काढता येतो अन्यथा नाही.

सुप्रीम कोर्टाच्या सादिक अली केसच्या निर्णयानुसार पूर्वी राजकीय पक्ष नोंदणी करणे अनिवार्य नव्हते, ते असोसिएशन म्हणून चालत होते. काँग्रेस (ओ) आणि काँग्रेस (आय) या केसच्या निर्णयामध्ये सुप्रीम कोर्टाने असं म्हटलं की, कुठल्याही ��ियमाखाली हे राजकीय पक्ष नोंदणी नसल्यामुळे या संदर्भातील निर्णय हा निवडणूक आयोगाने द्यावा, अशी भूमिका तेव्हा सुप्रीम कोर्टाने घेतली होती.

1989 मध्ये लोकप्रतिनिधी कायद्यात दुरुस्ती करण्यात आली आणि 29 (अ) नुसार राजकीय पक्ष नोंदणी करणे अनिवार्य करण्यात आले. हे करत असतांना राजकीय पक्षांच्या घटनेत केंद्रीय कार्यकारिणीपासून ते गाव पातळीवरील पदाधिकाऱ्यांची नावे द्यावे लागतात. यामुळे राजकीय पक्षांचे कायदेशीर अस्तित्व निर्मा�� झाले. यामुळे राजकीय पक्षांची भांडणे निवडणूक आयोगाच्या कार्यक्षेत्रातून निघून सिव्हिल कोर्टाच्या अधिकार क्षेत्रात आली.

असं असताना निवडणूक आयोग कसा काय निर्णय घेऊ शकते? या मूळ प्रश्नाकडे कोणीच लक्ष देत नाहीये. त्यामुळे भाजपला हा राजकीय खेळ करणे सोपं झाले आहे.

आरएसएसचे मोहन भागवत अमेरिकेला जाणार आहेत पण, तेथील काही संघटनांनी त्यांचा विरोध केलाय आणि आरएसएसवर बंदी घालण्याची मागणी केलीय.

विडंबन हे आहे की, आरएसएस हे भारतात नोंदणीकृत नाहीये. मात्र, अमेरिकेत आरएसएसची नोंदणी आहे.

मोहन भागवत भारतीय नागरिक आहेत की पाकिस्तानी नागरिक आहेत? हे तपासण्याची वेळ आली आहे.

सर्वोच्च न्यायालयात शिवसेना पक्षाच्या सुरू असलेल्या सुनावणीवरून असं दिसतंय की, आधी दक्षता न घेतल्यामुळे निवडणूक आयोगाने एकनाथ शिंदे यांना दिलेले 'धनुष्यबाण' या चिन्हांवर सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने शिक्कामोर्तब केला.

आताची अवस्था पाहिली तर या लढाईत फायदा कोणाला? तर भाजपला याचा फायदा होईल.
तो म्हणजे 'धनुष्यबाण' हे चिन्ह कोर्टाकडून गोठवले जाईल. त्यामुळे दोन्ही शिवसेनेला एकमेकांच्या विरोधात लढावे लागेल. धनुष्यबाण हे चिन्ह नसल्यामुळे दोन्ही शिवसेनेकडे असलेले आमदार, खासदार हे त्यांच्याकडे टिकतील का? हा मोठा प्रश्न आहे.

याचा फायदा अमित शाह, भाजप घेईल. चिन्ह गोठल्यानंतर हे आमदार, खासदार भाजपाकडे पळतील. कोर्टाचा निर्णय कोणाच्याही बाजूने लागला तरी फायदा भाजपचा आहे.

मध्यंतरी भाजपने पक्ष फोडाफोडी सुरू केली होती, ती जंतरमंतर वरील आंदोलनामुळे त्याला आळा बसला होता. कोर्टाचा निर्णय आल्यानंतर आमदार, खासदारांची फोडाफोडी मोठ्या प्रमाणात दिसेल.
