Pathetic. If the compulsion is local businesses and visitor footfalls, build a war/partition museum-park and have daily performances of how Pakistan has lost every war it has fought. Instead of the dumbassery of the Attari-Wagah beating retreat rubbish. We are not equals.
The defence minister of Pakistan accepting that they helped terrorist. Look at him blaming the US and UK . He was literally sweating 😅 .They make mockery of their own country .

How much money did we make in 2024?
Income sources revealed...
Background:
My wife and I own a holding company - Zaan WebVeda Private Limited.
It has 3 business units:
1. Brand warikoo (the content business)
2. WebVeda (the education business)
3. Investing (the company's profits)
Business Unit 1: Brand warikoo (content business)
This is our content play.
I am the face of this content - and we create content across YT, IG, LI, TW, WA, Newsletters, Podcast, Books.
Cumulative 14.8M+ followers (overlapping)
Within this business, we have multiple income streams.
Income Stream 1: Advertising
We do not run any ads on YouTube and thus do not earn any money.
This amount will range from Rs. 1-1.5Cr ($120K-180K) if we were to turn it on, for the 800M+ views we generated annually last year on YouTube.
Don't ask why we haven't turned it on lol
Income Stream 2: Affiliate Income
This is income earned when we share links to brands, through our content, and viewers end up buying something after clicking the link.
The business earns a share of the revenue generated through the link.
From Jan-Dec 2024 we earned Rs. 48.22L (USD 56K) in affiliate income.
100% of the affiliate we have earned (and will earn in the future) goes towards the education of kids who cannot afford it.
It is a simple process. Students email me, we ask for their student ID, college details, Aadhaar and a link to pay the school/college directly. And we make the transfer.
Last year, we contributed 43L towards the education of 104 kids and since existence we have contributed nearly 1.7Cr (USD $200K) towards the education of 397 kids.
Thanks to all of you :))
Income Stream 3: Public Speaking
I love public speaking and a lot of corporates invite me to their team events, all-hands, leadership offsite to address the audience and share my experiences.
We are not cheap (9L/hr) and are extremely selective, because this isn't my livelihood and I want to spend my time only where I want to.
In 2024 we earned 2.38Cr (USD 280K) in speaking fees.
It is insane that I can earn this much, for something that I love doing.
Income Stream 4: Book Royalty
I publish a book a year.
These are written for an audience that hasn't ever read, or doesn't read often. My biggest joy is receiving an email stating "this was the first book I finished".
4 books released so far and whenever they sell we earn a royalty.
In 2024, we earned 1.65Cr (~$200K) in book royalty.
Income Stream 5: Brand Collaborations & Endorsements
As a public figure with a distribution, a lot of brands reach out to us to promote their product/services.
Every brand we work with has to fulfill at least 2 of these 3 criteria:
- I have personally used them as a consumer and love the experience
- I personally know the founder/CEO from before
- The brand has been in existence for 5+ years
Because of this criteria, while we get around 300-350 queries per month we end up working with ~1-2 every month.
This income stream was meant to support WebVeda and will eventually come to near zero, atleast in terms of brands we work with.
In 2024, we earned 2.76Cr ($325K) through brand collaborations and endorsements.
Business Unit 2: WebVeda (education business)
This is where I spend 80% of my time.
WebVeda is an online school offering affordable courses with lifetime access and 100% refund, in subjects that school and college do not teach.
Time mgmt, money mgmt, communication, startup, career planning, cold emailing etc
We have 428,000+ students enrolled at an avg price point of Rs. 1,100 per student.
Growing at 6-8K students per month.
7% of our students are from outside of India.
Avg completion rate is 72%
Avg refund is 5.5%
We launch 1 course per quarter and have a total of 12 courses on the platform.
In 2024, we did Rs. 9.56Cr ($1.1M) of sales on WebVeda - which was the worst year in 3 years - for reasons known to us (and not of any worry).
Between these income streams, we earned Rs. 16.84Cr ($2Mn) as a business.
Business Unit 3: Investing
We are a profitable business (~20-25% EBITDA) and deploy the reserves of the company into various assets.
I am an aggressive investor (not recommended) and the mix of our current investments is:
1. Mutual Funds: 70L
2. PMS: 8.13Cr
3. Startup Debt: 1.62Cr
4. Startup Equity: 3.49Cr
5. Stocks India: 95L
6. Stocks US: 93L
7. Real Estate: 3.75Cr
Total: ~20Cr (USD 2.35M), which last year was around 13Cr - so an insane (and unsustainable, I should add) growth rate of 48%.
None of this investing is active. I spend less than 5 mins every month tracking or managing it - and I am happy to pay a fee to experts to manage my money for me.
Which brings me to a very important point.
A lot of us are very passive with our income.
We are living our jobs as dead people.
Showing up, burning out, earning a salary - and somehow being ok with this life.
But on the other hand, we are extremely active with our investments.
Which stock to buy, when to buy, when to sell, explore trading, dabble with FnO, join telegram stock tip groups!
What if you flipped this?
Get active with your income.
Don't just settle for a salary.
Explore ways to earn more.
Don't ever stop hustling for it.
And get passive af with your investing.
The boring SIPs.
Active with your income.
Passive with your investments.
Consider it...
IMP:
1. These numbers are revenue, not salary or money that I earn. There are a lot of expenses after this number - team salary, marketing, software.
Our profit is between 20-25% of this number.
2. The joy of running a bootstrapped business cannot be over-emphasized. At 44, this is the best way for me to grow - slow and steady.
I have an incredible team @wariCrew that I love to pamper, I am not accountable to any investors - instead to my audience and my students, I have a lot of time on hand to think and plan and I get to take long-term bets.
This very same performance for a VC-funded company would have been an absolute disaster!
3. It is intensely hard for me to share this. Not the numbers - the transparency comes easy to me and I am too self-assured to fear any judgement.
What's hard is the assumed cockiness that my mind keeps telling me, will be an outcome.
"Look at how much money I make"
"Look at how cool I am"
It is hard for me to keep this yearly disclosure objective. In the hope that I hopefully inspire you to live life differently, if you aren't happy with how you are living it so far.

No shades ...will this not be dangerous for spectators for example , if it rains heavily everyone will run towards the exit especially if you have 30K people in one place ...this is a disaster in making @ICC
They are absolute cry babies ...just because he is 19 does not mean he can do whatever and if he does choose then should be man enough to take it @BCCI@cricketcomau@GautamGambhir
