Support the Manchester Munich Memorial Foundation fundraiser and ensure the Babes continue to make the impact in this world that they deserved to. That a charity set up in their name isn't meeting it's fundraising target on today of all days is scandalous. Come on Reds ๐
Right then. Despite the social media posts about how much Munich means to people, the charity that raises money each year for young people's charities in the name of those who died is only 74% into it's fundraising target for this year. Sort it out, Reds. https://t.co/jliBL6v8bY
@Jones88bones@MufcWonItAll2 Yes, anyone can take that picture. But not anyone did, we did. We went out in the rain to speak to the artist, and find out about them. Itโs crucial to our survival to bring stuff other people donโt have to the table, and itโs galling when someone takes that without credit.
@Jones88bones@MufcWonItAll2 When you retweet the original, it means the business/fanzine who posted it gets follows, retweets and website clicks, which when youโre a small business is hugely important. Just taking the picture and posting to your own page without credit robs us of that vital connection.

Massive respect to Northampton based artist Jano who has been working in the rain all day today to get this stunning mural of Sir Bobby up on The Trafford. A truly beautiful tribute.
So it's not really a surprise, but it's disappointing to see grassroots creativity and originality being aped by a giant corporation to try and shift a load of polyester tat to line the pockets of the worst kinds of people though. And they don't come any worse than Joel and co.
Corporate football hipsterism at its finest: Producing pretend fanzines to try and use fan culture to flog a load of ยฃ130 mass produced coats that looked awful the first time round but now have nostalgia appeal.
Capitalism has been co-opting youth culture/subculture, stripping it of it's more subversive elements, reducing it to a series of stylised visuals and selling it back to the mass market for mass consumption for years. Adidas has done it for decades with hip hop, street art etc
