Here’s my rule for SaaS UX:
If your user needs to think twice, it’s already too complex.

Keep asking:
-> Is this easier than expected?
-> Is the value obvious?
-> Can they do it in 30 seconds?

If the answer’s no - strip it back.
UX isn’t about pixels.
It’s about activation.
