Even after submitting consent letters & A/B forms, @policybazaar & @Niva_Bupa are refusing to fix the error
A 61-year-old battling Cancer, Kidney Failure & Heart Disease is being harassed for money he deserves.
Policy Bazaar must be banned as an Intermediator
@IRDAI@finminIndia
🚨 Insurance Harassment 🚨
@policybazaar & @Niva_Bupa are playing a friendly match — intentionally rejecting my father’s valid ₹3.48L claim (ID 2433353).
Policy Bazaar intentionally filed it under “Pre/Post Hospitalization” so @Niva_Bupa could reject it easily.
#InsuranceFraud
@Niva_Bupa has again rejected my father’s reimbursement claim ID 2433353 of ₹3.48 lakh, demanding irrelevant documents - even after approving ₹10 lakh under the same hospitalisation
A 61-yr-old battling cancer, kidney & heart disease is being harassed by
@policybazaar@IRDAI
My father is fighting Multiple Myeloma and End-Stage Kidney Disease, currently on regular dialysis and preparing for urgent chemotherapy. Despite having a Niva Bupa ReAssure 2.0 + Recharge policy with ₹35 lakh cover, (policy since 2021) our cashless claim 1207124 was denied under Clause 5.1.4 as “diagnostic”, even though these diagnostics confirmed cancer and led to immediate treatment. Bills have already crossed ₹5 lakh, and each chemotherapy injection costs ₹75,000–₹80,000, with 24 doses planned. We urgently request @NivaBupa@policybazaar to reconsider and approve this claim, and appeal to @IrdaiIndia and the public to amplify and help us get justice for timely treatment. #NivaBupa #HealthInsurance #MultipleMyeloma #KidneyFailure #Policybazaar
@Niva_Bupa@policybazaar First Thing From @Niva_Bupa no body have contacted me 2nd thing I have provided all the documents multiple times. You are ignoring and try to washing your hand to deney the claim..
🚨 Insurance Harassment 🚨
💔 My father’s top-up cashless claim (₹3.84L) is again ❌ rejected 3rd time by @Niva_Bupa citing “insufficient docs” — even though ✅ the same docs were accepted for base policy claim (₹10L).
👉 This is a deliberate trap:
📉 Sell you base + top-up policies via @policybazaar
📺 Show 🎭 fake claim ratio commitment by @policybazaar
⚖️ Then harass at the time of claim with repeated 📑 document demands until the patient/family 💢 breaks down.
💸 We have already spent lakhs from our pocket while insurance hides behind 🚪 excuses.
This is systematic ❗ fraud & mental harassment of patients & attendants.
⚠️ We demand urgent action from @IRDAI 🏛️ @finminIndia 💹 @jagograhakjago 📢 against Niva Bupa & Policy Bazaar.
#InsuranceFraud 🚨 #NivaBupa ❌ #PolicyBazaar 💰 #HealthInsurance 🏥
Despite Niva Bupa approving Base Policy ₹10L cashless claim (ID 1207124), our Top-up Policy (25L, ID 1216554) was rejected on same documents under excuse of “insufficient history.”
How can the same documents be accepted for Base Policy but rejected for Top-up? This is nothing but deliberate harassment.
It is clear that @policybazaar & @Niva_Bupa sell Top-up policies only to trap customers — at claim time they delay and reject on false grounds, forcing families towards reimbursement. They know patients’ families often cannot afford upfront payments, risking lives, while the insurer conveniently escapes liability.
This is not just unethical, it’s inhuman. Once this ordeal is over, I will take this matter to Court.
We demand urgent reconsideration. @Niva_Bupa@policybazaar @IRDAI_CRG @FinMinIndia
Now @Niva_Bupa has wrongly tagged his case as “diagnostic” & “fever of unknown origin” — risking final claim rejection — despite ALL reports & LIVE verification on 12 Aug.
We have already paid ₹5.1L personally. STOP THIS DOGALPAN & approve FULL active treatment coverage!

All required documents have been shared repeatedly, yet there has been no direct response from @Niva_Bupa till now and Treatment is at risk of being stopped by Hospital.
I am now preparing to move Punjab & Haryana High Court for violation of Right to Life (Article 21).

My father is in critical condition with Kidney Failure, Heart Attack, and Multiple Myeloma. We’ve already paid ₹5 lakh to @FortisMohali, and the hospital is demanding more to continue treatment.
Despite having a ₹35 lakh policy, @Niva_Bupa has denied our claim, and this policy was sold by @policybazaar. We feel cheated and abandoned in this medical emergency.
We request urgent intervention from @IRDAIndia and the Government of India. Please take strict action and help us get justice. 🙏🏻
#HealthInsurance #PatientRights #NivaBupa #PolicyBazaar #SaveSanjeevKuma
Thank you for the response, but this is extremely disappointing that you have again rejected in same clause. The hospitalization was not elective diagnostics — it was for acute kidney failure with fluid overload, emergency dialysis, and evaluation that confirmed Multiple Myeloma (cancer) through PET-CT and biopsy, leading to immediate treatment planning.
Denying this claim under Clause 5.1.4 as “diagnostic” is factually incorrect and against IRDAI guidelines, which state that diagnostics forming part of active treatment must be covered.
We request @Niva_Bupa to urgently reconsider and approve cashless/reimbursement, and also urge @IrdaiIndia and @PolicyBazaar to intervene so that patients with life-threatening illnesses are not denied rightful coverage.
