I made a free long snapping course on YouTube a few years back and today it was featured in a Super Bowl commercial with @NateBoyer37’s amazing story. Check it out.
Our Long Game party kicks-off with @NateBoyer37, the super legendary Green Beret veteran who used YouTube videos to learn how to play football and later become a starting lineup w/ @BeALonghorn and @Seahawks, making them proud in-between touchdowns. More: https://t.co/agsZnam79H
Debate topic:
If the playoffs were to start today, the 2nd & 3rd best teams in the NHL would play in the first round.
By the end of the second round two of the top three teams in the entire NHL will be eliminated from the playoffs!
Dallas and/or Minnesota are better off dropping down to the first wild card spot than finishing higher in the standings.
How is this good for the league? It punishes excellence, kills potential blockbuster matchups in later rounds, and undermines the entire 82-game (soon 84-game) regular season grind. Teams battle all year to earn the highest possible seed and the advantages that come with it, only for the format to throw that merit out the window.
Division rivalries, less travel, it changes every year. Yes, those factors exist. But they don’t justify a system where the best teams knock each other out early while lesser seeds move on.
The fair, logical fix: Go back to true conference seeding 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6, 4 vs 5. Reward the regular season. Protect the top teams. Deliver better, more meaningful hockey throughout the playoffs.
It’s mind blowing to me that more GM’s aren’t more vocal for this change.
Thoughts???
I’ll hang up and listen ✌️
@DeanTTraining I was badly injured in college doing stuff like this. Only guy on the team to do the drill bc of how it ended up. Open floor Box step ups with squat weight. Was in asics running shoes.
I’m throwing my hat in the ring for the GM or bare minimum assistant GM role for the @dallasmavs
Here’s how you fix this team Miriam Adelson and Patrick Dumont.
1. Trade Anthony Davis to recapture ownership of first round picks over the next 4 years.
2. Keep Kyrie Irving because he’s an elite culture fit.
3. Apologize profusely to the fan base and to Luka Doncic and Dirk Nowitzki.
4. Build around your strong young contracts (Flagg, PJ, Gafford, Lively)
5. Trade Klay Thompson anywhere he wants to go, he didn’t sign up for this.
6. Fire the entire training staff and start over.
7. If Jason Kidd had any part in this trade send him packing with Nico. If he didn’t, allow him to clear his name publicly.
8. Lower ticket prices immediately.
9. Listen to your fan base, we know better than mercenaries that don’t care about this franchise.
10. Drop the lawsuit against our @DallasStars immediately
My DM’s are open. At least I know how to treat my customers. This has been an unforgivable disaster.

Dirk not being at the Mavs game tonight for Coopers debut & the Mavs first home game of the season all while going to the Lakers to see Luka tells me everything I need to know.
