@ArtetaEra Cesc biggest letdown. For all the “I still love Arsenal” claims he constantly peddles, not a single tweet or comment anywhere about it.
In 2021 when he was a Monaco player and when Chelsea won the UCL, he posted “Champions of Europe” immediately after the match.
@markgoldbridge It seemed in real time that there was no obvious injury (like an ankle roll or a knee twist) and Bradley just fell like he would off balance and stayed down. Can’t blame Gabi for thinking he’s wasting time with the title is on the line. You guys are over dramatising this
@nelsonvillee@indykaila@Arsenal Have you seen what Van Dijk does to his fellow sportsmen? Nasty off the ball punches and kicks. Very professional?
Stop blowing this out of proportion. This happens all the time to waste time. Slot said the same too
@BBQ_Penguin@ChrisWheelerDM Mbuemo and Cunha got nearly 50 g/a between them in 24/25. In-form Bruno, in form Amad. 75M striker, big money defensive signings.
Still 6th, 17 points off the top halfway through. That’s on the manager I’m afraid
@calciocraft@_LewisLFC Cowardly teams that don’t want to attack don’t try to maintain needless control in the opposition half, that too so deep and around the opposition box. Because it leaves spaces in behind and makes them vulnerable. PL managers can think too, you know?
@WisdomOfMimir@markrstats What if the xg models take into account the players involved too? Conceptually, you could easily “encode” their quality by taking their historical averages/quartile metrics
I think the advanced xg models all have such features
@Jon_Mackenzie Our first phase build up (almost non existent up till then) immediately improved. Balls were going to Merino, Saka, Madueke much more frequently.
This should have been a halftime change
@TikiTakaConnor Someone has to run a statistical analysis. The sample is now large enough over a long period of time for us to attribute it just to shit luck. Surely we are doing (or not) something around training and recovery that’s causing all these injuries
Mark Goldbridge is probably the most objective, neutral and sensible football YouTuber out there. Always asks the right questions and exposes the PGMOL corruption irrespective of who it benefits or doesn’t. It just “coincidentally” turns out to be Arsenal who are always shafted
@TikiTakaConnor Why do our players face muscular issues and niggles serious enough to sideline them almost every single match? Every one of them. Why? It’s gotten to a point where it seems statistically improbable that this is random noise
Are we doing something wrong with the training?
@ArsenalGunny@KNGDM_Prince Newcastle scored and sat back in the deepest of deep blocks I’ve ever seen and that too with a back 5 for the last 25 odd mins
@paniniboy7 I won’t forget when Southampton beat us 4-0 and lost 10/11 fixtures before and after us. Fulham away is always tricky. Thinking about Adama and Jimenez gives me nightmares
@paniniboy7 Fulham and Palace up next. Tricky stuff, we always drop points. I see Liverpool dropping at least 4-5 points in next 4 games and if we get 4/4, we’d be 6 points clear at the top. Bodes well for the next month and a half heading into Christmas
