Oh we are not just for top ups, we are the go-to retailer for large number of our customers.
We don't disintermediate we create demand.
We make the gorilla dance.
I often get told isn't Housie (@housie_shop) just disintermediating existing demand?
What's the value add?
Oh it's just top ups!
Oh it not buyers default choice!
Oh nobody buys these things online!
The answer is *revealing itself* as we execute.
The industry needs a helping hand that is quick & trusted. That’s Housie
1. Trusted & full stack discovery, storage, delivery, payments, returns, refunds, customer support, powered with tech & AI.
2. Born quick, we move at a click of a button.
At Housie, we are building the new Home Depot.
If Home Depot was started in 2026 with AI on tap, and unparalleled on-demand logistics infrastructure, what would it look like?
That is at the heart of our vision at Housie - and it is all being built from the ground up with AI powered workflows that create a 100x experience over the current options.
So in this case, we are building (B) ...the ice cream company :)

We have a Cital AI bot which gives alerts based on team's dashboard, warehouse management and buzzes when there are delays. Everything is digitised. It is a very exciting phase for us: @deepvsha, Founder & CEO, @citalco

The missing piece in India's early stage ecosystem is going live next week - GamePlan 2026 will connect the best pre-seed funded startups (70+) with follow-on investors (150+) creating an efficient and win-win process for both. All these startups are curated from the portfolios of the best founding stage investors in the country leading to 500+ double optin fund raising conversations...must be a first by miles :)
Kudos to DeVC for putting this missing piece together very effectively!
The Concept2 RowErg is one of the highest quality products I've ever used.
Had one for years now, feels like it'll last another 100.
Simple construction, durable materials, low maintenance. Comically easy to assemble. Tips up for storage, leaving a tiny footprint.
The PM5 display is simple B&W, no touchscreen, just a few easy-to-use-when-sweaty rubberized buttons. Just two D batteries that seem to last forever. No plugs, no charging, no cables needed.
Roll it around on wheels, steady once flat. Perfectly grips the ground, no wobble, no rattle, no movement.
The whole thing is just right. I've rarely encountered a product so well considered. They knew where to stop.
To me, this is a pinnacle product. The model to build towards. No matter what you make, aim to make it as well as the Concept 2 RowErg.
And all that for under $1000. One of the few products I've paid this much for that feels like a steal.
No affiliation, just a fan.

Both as a founder and funder, nothing excites me more than the early stage of venture, and it has been my privilege to be a part of India's ever growing startup ecosystem for the last 17 years!
And thanks to the incredible value creation by Indian founders both globally and locally, we now have a deep ecosystem of backers and believers to support our rapidly growing base of builders who are propelling india forward on its Developed Nation Building journey! 🇮🇳
This road has most luxurious bungalows, expensive residential buildings, international school which educates 1500 students commuting daily in school bus only! Image the plight of the students and inconvenience of the resistance even after paying corporation tax! No accountability
I got rejected by 144 investors before raising $150M for my $200M+ rev/year startup.
After 144 rejections, I started questioning our approach.
Were we solving the right problem?
What were we doing wrong?
Why weren’t investors seeing what we were seeing?
Were we the right team to build this?
We tried everything: different pitch angles, new deck structures, and reframing the problem.
Then came the 145th meeting, where we closed our first growth round.
That yes made everything worth it. But getting there took years of mistakes and hard work.
We went through a lot of trial and error just to figure out what resonates with investors.
We tried dozens of approaches to figure out what made investors engage.
Some landed, most didn't. But each iteration taught us something about what builds conviction versus what just sounds good on paper.
And once we cracked that code, our Series C closed faster than expected.
And today, I see so many founders in the exact same position I was in 10 years ago: grinding through rejections, questioning everything, and trying to figure out what works.
So today I want to give you the resource I wish I had back then:
Something that shows you exactly how to structure these conversations and navigate the entire process
(because the fundraising cycle can be a big distraction and take a toll on you as a founder).
So I've partnered with Notion's Startups Team to create the essential fundraising resource that helps you avoid the mistakes that cost me years.
Here's what you are getting:
• The actual decks I used to raise $150M for Super[.]com (Series B, C)
• 50 real examples from funded startups like Eleven Labs and Artisan AI
• A searchable database of 10,000+ investors - angels, VCs, and accelerators you can reach out to immediately (this alone would take months to build manually)
• An AI-powered fundraising agent built into Notion with step-by-step prompts (no separate ChatGPT needed)

• Comment "FUNDRAISE"
• Follow me so I can DM you the link
I'll send it over ASAP.
P.S.: If you are serious about fundraising (now or in the future), you should grab it right away.
Needs urgent attention, the Nalanda school road Sevasi is highly unsafe and has been ignored for years after multiple complaints @VMCVadodara
We request immediate and urgent action to avoid any serious accident.
Can someone believe that this road is under @VMCVadodara and we are paying corporation tax for last 3 years!
Just look at the great facilities that we get against our tax money..

quick india movement
"largest collection, lowest prices, fastest delivery" - jeff bezos set this as the three-pronged goal at amazon way back when -- he delivered on it one by one and we all fell for it. and why won't we - it was the superior experience we didn't have before amazon brought it to us.
and we never went back - can you imagine going back to limited collection, high prices and slow delivery? naaaah!
an addendum to bezos' vision started to play out in india over the past two years: an even faster delivery.
coined as quick commerce, every indian's early reaction was "whhhhhyyyyyy?"
and yet here we are -- the other day a friend said sometimes they end up ordering grocery after their cook shows up --- it's unreal how india not only adopted but got addicted to quick commerce in a very short period of time.
we saw it early at better capital. but we didn't see it right. we launched 10 mins food/snack - voosh - about two years ago just a few days before zomato launched their similar experiment. we had to pivot out of it for two reasons - quick commerce was too early in india then (and was failing in multiple global markets) and 2022 capital markets weren't right for us to pursue that early (right) vision.
more importantly, we also missed that grocery was probably a better category to start with due to frequency- with terribly low margins we just didn't think that was the right category... we were wrong.
kudos to blinkit, zepto and instamart for making "quick commerce" happen in india --- most didn't see the need for it and yet more and more people i know are addicted to it.
will they go back to driving to the subji market for groceries or fight the crowd at a super store? hell no...
that's why this feels like the "quick india movement" -- we've made the change, we're addicted and we aren't going back.
what else will work on the quick commerce rails -- that's the question we've been asking for well over 12 months now...many of my ecosystem friends have been troubled by my push to think about this.
food/snack - yes, voosh is back. but in the form of a new co called swish - if you are in hsr, give them a try!
fashion - yes, try slikk in Bangalore.
cital - quick for construction material. unreal learnings here.
what else?
quick is going to eat into offline retail more than it eats into online is my personal contrarian view.
how this all pans out is anyone's quess - but suffice to say that commerce has become interesting once again,
stay tuned!
ps: slikk, cital and swish are portcos/portcos in process!
