Ubisoft CEO is today having an "invitation-only" meeting with the European Commission, hosted by VGE, 2 weeks before the EC planned answer to our ECI.
SKG was not invited.
Thus, we publish an Open Letter, that we invite everyone of you to read it and share it for visibility.
@MrDanishButterC Hey there, the inactivity rule sucks. However, a community post is enough to stay in the programm.
Can be as easy as: hey, i'm still alive.
Hope that helps! :)
You might have heard the rumours, it's time to reveal what we are working on.

@Kappische@notch Same goes for content creation. The perfect video is the one that will never see the light of day.
Get to 80% and ship it.
(And yes, reusing assets/motion graphics etc is also a thing!) :D
The guide can be summed up simply:
Stop taking other people's work and repackaging it as your own.
The real problem isn't "inauthentic content." The problem is that a lot of people think it's acceptable to take other people's work, repackage it into compilations or shorts, and then call it a "faceless channel."
And then they complain when they get into trouble.
Faceless channels are supposed to be for creators who don't want their identity linked to their content or for those who create content that should be identity independent, not for people who just want to have a free ride.
These posts always make it sound like AI is better at strategy. STOP relying on AI for everything. Rather than relying on AI, which DOES NOT understand the true nuances of a running a successful YouTube channel, here are the things to look for when you’re taking inspiration from other channels:
From their ideas
- Look for consistency in their formats and see how clear it becomes what the audience can expect (predictability in ideas)
- Identify which topics grab more attention and figure out whether this was a seasonal trend or if the topic also gets views at other times (longevity of ideas)
- Figure out whether it was the idea that carried the views or the trust in the creator’s ability to deliver high-quality content (trust in ideas)
From their packaging
- Look for consistency in their thumbnail compositions and tie them to specific formats (visual consistency in thumbnails)
- Identify whether there are specific thumbnail elements, colors, or faces that help with overall branding (familiarity in thumbnails)
- Figure out whether other thumbnail compositions are possible by looking at how similar ideas may have different thumbnails (A/B testing options)
But let’s get into what matters more than anything, the experience while watching the content.
From their content
- Who is presenting the content, and how engaging are they to listen to
- What is the structure of the video, and where does it step away from a repetitive, predictable format
- Does the editing look high production, or does it look like you hired the first available editor
- How are music and sound effects integrated to create an immersive experience
- Does the script feel like it was written by AI, or does it feel like it comes from the creator
There’s so much more to content than “what AI sees” and if you’re going to rely on AI to figure everything out for you, you’ll quickly discover how easy it is to fail.
@hitsman Also also: If i buy a membership, i want to be able to use the emotes of said channel side wide.
Speaking of emotes: while you are able to post member emotes, on several surfaces the emote picker is just not there, making the widespread use impossible.
@hitsman I would love to see the Game Topic Pages reworked and actually show all the livestreams on a game instead of the seemingly arbitrary filtering of why some fomks make it into the list and others dont. Also making the GameTopic Pages more prominent on the home feed 1/2

We have some important news about Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy alpha.
During final checks, we found several blocking issues. That is why we’ve decided to move the alpha test to December 18th.
This decision wasn’t easy, but we believe that it’s the right thing to do.
Thank you for understanding.
