Why does Spider-Man seem to have suffered more heartbreak than almost any other MCU hero?

Peter lost Aunt May, watched Tony Stark die after already losing him once during the Snap, and then had to make the ultimate sacrifice in No Way Home letting everyone he loved forget he ever existed.

He got the girl… then lost her, He found a mentor… then watched him die, he finally had a family… then lost Aunt May.

And after saving the multiverse, Peter ended up completely alone, with MJ and Ned no longer remembering who he is.

What makes Peter’s story even more painful is that he keeps choosing to save people even when doing so costs him everything personally.

So is Spider-Man actually the most tragic hero in the MCU… because Peter Parker keeps saving the world… while losing pieces of his own world every time.

After the wars, the lies, the wildfire, the children, the city she was willing to watch burn he still walked back into the dark for her. Not because she deserved it. Not because she asked to live. Because the only thing that ever pulled Jaime Lannister off the battlefield and out of honor was her.
Some will say he should have left her there.
Some will say she didn’t deserve to die in his arms.
Both can be true at the same time.
He didn’t stay because she was good.
He stayed because she was his.
And in that collapsing keep, with the world ending above them, that was enough

Several years ago, my adult daughter, Helen, met a man she quickly grew very fond of. At first, everything seemed wonderful. He was charming, attentive and made her feel appreciated. Before long, Helen was spending most of her free time with him

She was genuinely happy. I could see the excitement in her whenever she talked about him. She believed the relationship was going somewhere and was optimistic about what their future might look like

Then one evening, everything changed.

Helen was at his house, and the two of them decided to play a video game together. They were laughing and teasing each other as they competed. Eventually, Helen won the game

She expected him to laugh, complain jokingly and ask for another round

Instead, his entire attitude changed

He became furious. He screamed directly in Helen’s face, insulted her, and verbally abused her over something as insignificant as losing a video game. Before she could even process what was happening, he kicked her out of his home

Professor X is one of Marvel’s greatest telepaths… Wanda snapping his neck like it was nothing is a wild display of power.

Xavier’s entire power set is built around the mind. Across the X-Men stories, he has read, controlled and manipulated minds, erased or altered memories, and confronted powerful psychic opponents.

Wanda’s abilities are different. Her Chaos Magic gives her incredible mental and reality-altering abilities, but she isn’t primarily a telepath like Xavier.

That’s why I don’t see this scene as proof that Wanda is mentally stronger than Professor X. We barely see the confrontation, and the movie never establishes that Wanda surpassed Xavier in pure telepathy.

For someone with Xavier’s level of mental power, getting overwhelmed that quickly by Wanda deserved a lot more explanation.
