Prices remain exorbitant in Gza. Dalia has to pay $50-80 monthly just for cat food for 🐈 Remy & Liza! Add to that food for her family, electricity, uni fees & other basics. Without income. This is why your support is so important! It's their lifeline!

Surviving in Gaza means building a fortress against tomorrow.
As we try to secure 6 months of food for these forgotten souls, we aren't just storing kibble—we are hoarding lines of life against a silent winter.
To love what is fragile in a world so brutal is our quiet revolution. 🐱🍂Stand with us
A month ago, we failed to reach our goal of securing a 6-month food reserve. In Gaza, poverty and strict blockades crash our plans like waves against glass. But looking into these innocent eyes, I realize we cannot afford to surrender to despair. We are starting over from scratch. Please help us build their shield again. 🐱💔Support our restart:

Please share/give to support Shadi's remaining family: https://t.co/HMsLWJ58J4
In January 2025, Shadi and Dalia returned to their home in the North after many months of displacement. They walked on foot, carrying their cats and a few belongings. They didn't know if their home would be there or if they'd only find rubble.
Miraculously, their home still stood, although there was some damage. They were exhausted from the long journey and the many hardships they'd faced, but they were so happy to be back home. There was hope that things would get better again.
Sadly, the situation soon deteriorated, famine spread to unprecedented levels, their neighborhood was under constant attack, tanks advanced, the number of martyrs rose daily. Everything became bleak. I remember those days all too well, Shadi was losing hope, he didn't believe that things would get better anymore, he thought the world had abandoned them and the occupation would not stop until nothing was left of Gza and its people. Everything was just too much. And then, he was martyred.
I'm glad he was able to return home before he died, at least. But the last few months of his life were filled with so much suffering and pain, it breaks my heart.
We can't make up for any of this. What we can do now, what we owe martyr Shadi, is to help his remaining family survive. Please do so by sharing this post and making a contribution if you can, even 5 or 10 $ make a difference! ❤️🩹
The video I'm adding is of Shadi and his twin sister Dalia on their journey from the South to the North, their return home.
Shadi's family is still there. The house is standing although damaged. There are still attacks on their neighborhood. & Israel's genocidal blockade makes food, clean water - all supplies - hard to find & harder to afford.
Pls RS/QS. Pls do what you can. #HelpFolksLive2026
Shadi yearned to return home. Displacement made him so unhappy. He joked that he'd videocall me & dance if he ever returned—and he actually did when he finally was home 😅 It gives me some solace at least he was able to return before his martyrdom ❤️🩹

I'm Jewish, British & 64
All my life, I wondered how the Holocaust could have happened. I understood that Hitler & others were EVIL, but how did millions of ordinary people go along with it?
NOW, seeing how so many in the West rationalise & defend the Gaza Genocide, I feel I have an answer and it is profoundly disturbing
Unfiltered rage. That’s what Palestinians in Gaza are feeling and that’s what we at The Sameer Project are feeling. The world has failed Gaza as we come close to 3 years of an ongoing genocide. Urgent support needed: https://t.co/6l9JFjWInX
How much more are Palestinians in Gaza supposed to wait? How much more do they need to tolerate? When will this genocide end?
The Sameer Project is scrambling to stay functional. We cut our food production by 50% and stopped giving out meals with meat. On June 12th, we gave out 485 bulgur meals to 112 families in Fares Camp, Tal Al Hawa, Gaza City. Total cost with 11% commission was $809.

Padahal kan PRJ tuh buat rayain ultah Jakarta, tapi Kampung Betawinya menyedihkan banget weh 🥲
Liza's kitten were adopted by Dalia's friends but Liza & Remy remain with Dalia & her family. The situation on the ground is still very difficult & prices for everything, including cat food, remain high. This is their lifeline, please keep it active! ❤️🩹🐈⬛
