it's raining. a nice break this time of year. the day is nice and cool. I just got home from surfing. the wind and rain ending a fun session

just dripped some epoxy over my surfboards' wounds. they should be all better with a little sanding tomorrow.

I'll be in Arkansas for most of next week. I don't think I have more than one change of clothes for the winter weather up there.

Picked up a DIY surfboard kit including foam blank, fiberglass cloth, fins, shaping stand etc. Now what? I've got some design decisions...

Well, my stolen bike returned and I only had to buy it back for about 38USD. That's what you may call a stupidity tax.

My bike was stolen this morning as I was out surfing. One time it was stolen for about 12 hours, we got it back. This time I don't think so.

I just saw the status of my board. It's shaped and painted and now only awaits the fin boxes, glassing and sanding. Oh and curing I suppose.

Long surf this morning and on the way home I checked out the outline of my new board drawn on the blank. Looks lovely.

Today I've got to decide on the dimensions for a surfboard I'm getting shaped for me as payment for an improved logo I made for the shaper.

I'm here to complain though overall I know I have no reason to do so. I haven't surfed in over a week. Bright side: more time to work.
