This is the City Barge pub in Chiswick right now. What do you notice? It’s 3pm and they’re open. It’s a sunny day. Yes, that’s right; they have had to remove all of the tables and chairs outside. They have had to destroy their own business. Why? Because Rick Rowe, a Green Party councillor on Hounslow council, who lives very, very, very close to this pub and complains about it almost daily, has banned all three pubs here on strand on the Green Chiswick, from having outside tables. I can only assume he hates pubs, hates business and hates the British way of life. This would usually be buzzing with people enjoying their afternoon. However, they’re the wrong sort of people for Rick.

🚨 SHAME ON THE UK: Dogs dumped like TRASH in a cage by the roadside while shelters overflow! 😡

Three innocent dogs crammed into a tiny wire cage, abandoned on a grassy verge like worthless rubbish. This is Britain in 2025/2026.

RSPCA reports massive surges in pet abandonments:

• Wales: +51%
• Essex: +41%
• Bedfordshire: +44%

Rescue centres are FULL. No space. No funding. Meanwhile, breeders keep pumping out puppies, councils hand out licences, and online sites make it easier than ever to buy then dump.

This isn’t “tough times” - this is selfish, heartless cruelty. People treat living animals like disposable toys.

Where’s the outrage? Where are the politicians demanding urgent action -mandatory neutering, breeding bans for profit-driven operations, cracking down on puppy farms, and proper chipping/enforcement?

We ban certain breeds overnight but let thousands of dogs suffer and die in cages? Hypocrisy.

Tomorrow @AndrewRosindell will stand up in Parliament to speak on behalf of all the stray dogs who are being euthanized in our country. The figures are truly horrifying and if the public knew the full extent there would be utter outrage.

This is NOT a political issue. Animals are not a political bargaining tool. Whatever your political beliefs, I think we can all agree that we should not be euthanizing thousands of stray dogs and not reporting on the figures. We have to be their voice and we need to work cross party on animal welfare in this country.

@scanme_tukslaw @AdoptionsUk and @Anna_Firth have all been wonderful in helping collate evidence and encouraging me. We are all praying the government will listen to what we have to do and take action!
