The capabilities of Ukraine’s defense industry mean millions of FPV drones per year, our deep strikes, our interceptors, and millions of shells. Ukraine has its own long-range missile weapons. Not just in development, but a real force already at work. Flamingo and Ruta, Peklo and Neptune, Palianytsia and Vilkha – we can already be proud of all of this, but we will not stop here for sure. These are only our first steps – the industry will grow, and the enemy will feel it.
Everyone sees the historic long-range reach of our drones – striking 1,750 kilometers from our border. There will be more. And this is not about records – it is about justice that will find evil anywhere in the world. And our Sichen, Liutyi, Morok, Bars, Obriy, and FP are proof of that.
From the congratulatory address to the workers of Ukraine’s defense-industrial complex (1/3).
We see our home planet as a whole, lit up in spectacular blues and browns. A green aurora even lights up the atmosphere. That's us, together, watching as our astronauts make their journey to the Moon.
I thank all the leaders who are in Ukraine and with Ukraine today, and who have supported Ukrainians throughout all these years of struggle. It is extremely important that we are all together today, speaking with one voice. Global unity is stronger than any of Russia’s alliances. And as long as we all stand firm, we will surely secure peace for a normal life for our people.
Sport shouldn’t mean amnesia, and the Olympic movement should help stop wars, not play into the hands of aggressors. Unfortunately, the decision of the International Olympic Committee to disqualify Ukrainian skeleton racer Vladyslav Heraskevych says otherwise. This is certainly not about the principles of Olympism, which are founded on fairness and the support of peace.
I thank our athlete for his clear stance. His helmet, bearing the portraits of fallen Ukrainian athletes, is about honour and remembrance. It is a reminder to the whole world of what Russian aggression is and the cost of fighting for independence. And in this, no rule has been broken.
It is Russia that constantly violates Olympic principles, using the period of the Olympic Games to wage war. In 2008, it was the war against Georgia; in 2014 – the occupation of Crimea; in 2022 – the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. And now, in 2026, despite repeated calls for a ceasefire during the Winter Olympics, Russia shows complete disregard, increasing missile and drone strikes on our energy infrastructure and our people.
660 Ukrainian athletes and coaches have been killed by Russia since the full-scale invasion began. Hundreds of our athletes will never again be able to take part in the Olympic Games or any other international competitions. And yet, 13 Russians are currently in Italy competing at the Olympics. They compete under “neutral” flags at the Games, while in real life publicly supporting Russian aggression against Ukraine and the occupation of our territories. And they are the ones who deserve disqualification.
We are proud of Vladyslav and of what he did. Having courage is worth more than any medal.
I’m proud of you @heraskevych, for your courage and bravery. The helmet with portraits of fallen Ukrainian athletes is a tribute, not a rule violation!
Sport doesn’t mean forgetting. True strength is having the courage to remain human, even in the toughest times🇺🇦
Maduro's not a good guy, agreed. But neither is Putin, and Trump rolled out the red fucking carpet for him. It's not about dope, it's about oil (which kinda IS dope).
Just when you think Trump has hit the gutter, he bounces lower.
At the President of Ukraine's instruction, an important meeting was held with national security advisers from Ukraine's partner states — members of the Coalition of the Willing who had arrived in Kyiv.
The consultations were productive and demonstrated a high level of awareness of the challenges and threats to our shared security, yielding tangible results. We provided our partners with a detailed briefing on the documents developed within the peace process and on the outcomes of the intensive diplomatic efforts of recent weeks.
We discussed and coordinated our positions across various areas of military and political cooperation to bring closer the result that is essential for all of us — reliable security guarantees. Ukraine requires genuine, strong, and legally binding security guarantees from its partners that will prevent future aggression.
We agreed that on this challenging path, it is crucial to preserve our unity and maintain the high pace we have achieved. Next week, the work will continue at the state leaders' level, as well as among the militaries of partner states.
I thank our partners for their support and assistance, which directly strengthens Ukraine's position in the largest conflict in Europe since World War II. Ukraine, the United States, and Europe are committed to a reliable and just peace that will serve as the foundation for our shared prosperous future.
I have accepted the proposal of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to head the Office of the President. I will continue to serve Ukraine.
The position of Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine is another line of responsibility before the state. It is both an honor and a profound commitment, especially at this decisive moment in our country’s history, to focus on issues critical to Ukraine’s strategic security.
I am grateful for the trust. I extend my sincere gratitude to my fellow service members and to the entire DIU team for our work.
We will continue to do what must be done — to strike the enemy, defend Ukraine, and work tirelessly toward a just peace.
Together, we will continue to fight for a free and secure future for Ukraine.
I had a meeting with Kyrylo Budanov and offered him the role of the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine. At this time, Ukraine needs greater focus on security issues, the development of the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine, as well as on the diplomatic track of negotiations, and the Office of the President will primarily serve the fulfillment of these tasks of our state. Kyrylo has specialized experience in these areas and sufficient strength to deliver results. I also instructed the new Head of the Office of the President, in cooperation with the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and other relevant leaders and institutions, to update and submit for approval the strategic foundations of our state’s defense and development, as well as the subsequent steps.
@JayinKyiv The saddest thing is that a major player China, isn’t going anywhere and that is enough to keep Putin’s regime alive. Also, the Taiwan situation is still ahead and it will have to be solved sooner or later. The civilized world will have to protect Taiwan. Or not🙃
All necessary services are currently working to restore electricity and water supply in our communities affected by Russia’s overnight attack. Once again, the main strike targeted our energy sector, the south of the country, and the Odesa region.
Two people have been wounded in the Odesa region. More than a dozen civilian facilities have been damaged across the country. Thousands of families currently remain without electricity after the overnight strikes in the Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions. Attacks also hit the Dnipro and Cherkasy regions. In total, the enemy used more than 450 attack drones and 30 missiles of various types. We are doing everything possible to restore and improve the situation. I thank all our people involved in the recovery efforts.
It is important that everyone now sees what Russia is doing – every step they take in terror against our people, all their attacks, for this is clearly not about ending the war. They still aim to destroy our state and inflict maximum pain on our people. That is why we need support in everything that helps protect lives and put an end to this war – strengthening air defenses and our warriors at the front, increasing our long-range capabilities, and intensifying pressure on Russia. For all our diplomatic efforts to yield results, pressure must be applied to the aggressor so that they end the war they started. I thank everyone who understands this and is ready to help.
A Russian drone strike hit a kindergarten in Kharkiv – after a massive attack overnight. Unfortunately, one person has been killed – my condolences to the bereaved family. As of now, seven people have been injured and are receiving medical care. All the children have been evacuated and are now in shelters. Preliminary reports indicate that many are showing acute stress reactions.
There is no justification for a drone strike on a kindergarten, nor can there ever be. Clearly, Russia is growing more brazen. These strikes are Russia’s spit in the face to everyone who insists on a peaceful resolution.
Thugs and terrorists can only be put in their place by force.
