Hope we can take another look at the glassblowing pipe. I think a big appeal from this minigame is it gets away from the glassblowing meta and gives another good option, but then the reward is a fairly minor QoL upgrade for glassblowing.

It’d make more sense if the mini game was designed in a similar way to vale totems where we recycle extra glass products in our banks and it nicely rounds out the glassblowing game loop to improve the overall method and get more xp/supplies out of all the glass products that are largely just junk in the bank people toss after they finish their crafting grind. So in that scenario the glassblowing meta wouldn’t have an alternative, but would be greatly improved and gives the ornate blowpipe a better niche to fill.

Since this is taking the approach of providing an alternative method to glassblowing the reward really shouldn’t be tying back into that method imo - seems pretty out of place. And it’s just pretty underwhelming as well. Surprised it doesn’t offer something similar to the fletching knife where it allows 1t faster glass blowing, or if that would be too much of an xp boost, atleast give a x% chance to blow 1-2 extra glass and gain the xp for both.

I saw somebody say “relax it’s not like it’s a catholic mass at St Peter’s” and it dawned on me, no actually that’s literally the best way to describe the it. Every other sport, and really just aspect of society in general has been corporatized and squeezed for every dollar until the product is shit. ANGC has largely resisted all of that and stayed true to tradition. It’s the one weekend a year you can just download the app and enjoy the event and how things used to be. People shrugging this off will immediately turn around and bitch about how you need 10 different streaming services to watch sports anymore. 0 understanding or awareness as to how ESPN slowly degrading the masters eventually leads to each day of the tournament being broadcast by a different network behind another subscription. Can we conserve one single fucking thing please

I’ve been a ducks fan for basically my entire life. After hearing all week how this would be the real national championship game (and laughing cause I knew this would just be a rose bowl repeat of last year), I’m already seeing talk about Dan Lanning not being able to win the big game. No this is just what oregon does every year they have a top ranked team. In fact…this is what pnw teams do every time they have a top ranked team. Oregon, Washington, Gonzaga, Mariners, Seahawks except for that one time…The region is just cursed and the peach bowl tonight is business as usual

I was thinking about this the other day. For how much Trump cares about his image/portrayal, and all the stories of how he’s treated people that have backstabbed him, it’s wild to see him totally lay down for Netanyahu without hardly any fight at all. And he’s demonstrated multiple times through both terms that he knows and understands how to leverage the US’s power, yet with Israel (whom the US should have the most leverage over of basically any country), he acts like they’re the superpower keeping us afloat
