Hi again everyone! I know I'm supposed to be taking a break, but I got a request to make some Hengeyokai character sheets for Werewolf 20th Anniversary, so I thought I'd get those done.
I hope you like em!
You can download the new sheets here: https://t.co/haqjXgqZ5M
I remember having some interest sparked after the end of the 2nd season of Mandalorian. Felt there was even a buzz about it. KK and the rest found a way to gut that candle flame. SW is just trash now…
Many fans gave Star Wars another chance with 'The Mandalorian & Grogu', but its steep collapse exposes a much deeper problem. This is not about one film. It's about a franchise that has lost the trust of its own fans. https://t.co/GLdKYWTDUJ
Life is bleak as it is, there’s nothing wrong with caring about a thing you loved as a child into adulthood. Now, you can question if you should take it as seriously, but caring and wishing well is fine…
@EthanVanSciver 50 year old men crashing out on cartoons no one has cared about since 1989 is just pathetic and hilarious. You couldn't pay me to see a HE MAN movie after I got fucking hair on my balls. I never understood how certain people continue to love IPs for children well into adulthood.
Britain had a moment of silence for George Floyd. Our politicians kneeled en masse to show their outrage at his killing. "I can't breathe" became a slogan.
George Floyd died on the other side of the world. He wasn't British.
Henry Nowak *was* British and his treatment by the police was shocking and negligent in the extreme. Yet there is no minute of silence. There is no coordinated public campaign. There is no kneeling at sporting events.
And we all know why.
During the summer of BLM, some people said "All Lives Matter". This was treated as the highest form of racism and anyone who said this was immediately cancelled. Why? Because the people in charge don't actually think all lives matter in the same way.
They have created a racial hierarchy of victimhood where a career criminal who died through mistreatment by police in a foreign country with 0 evidence of racism like George Floyd is automatically sanctified because of the colour of his skin.
And Henry Nowak, a British man, one of ours, is automatically dismissed and ignored because of the colour of his.
This is the ugly fruit of so-called "anti-racism", an obsession with race that has created a two-tier society which treats people differently because of the colour of their skin.
This needs to stop.
@jeffersonation1 Why draw a hard line like that? And your being disingenuous with ending it at pronouns when the Left/Woke spectrum is so much more despicable then just that…
Milly Alcock explains that Supergirl is going to be more feminist millenial writing:
“I understood at that point that James is trying to do something very different and unexpected with her. She’s such a good contrast to Superman, because she’s a survivor of trauma in the purest sense. I was excited to play someone so beautifully flawed and resilient.”
Does this sound like a fun superhero movie or more therapy speak?
Doesn’t matter. When a woman decides there is an insurmountable issue, there is no remedy. They hold all the cards in a marriage in the West. In the modern era it is a pointless endeavor…
My wife left me after 22 years of marriage.
While I cannot write how this came to be (as with all separations it's complicated), two things I wanna share:
Prioritize family & friends over business: even though I probably couldn't save my marriage I wished I would have spent more time with my wife. It sounds cringe but money can't buy friendship, that's what I'm realizing the past months.
Pain is hard: There's nothing which could have prepared me for this, and there's also no quick fix to get out of the pain. In fact every quick fix makes it worse. I guess it needs time. Lament & distraction. It helps to be with friends but then also alone on the balcony staring into the night.
And please: no pity-replies. I'm not fishing for "poor Phil" comments. Not even sure why I'm writing this, it just somehow needs to get out.
This is a thousand times worse than George Floyd. They put an innocent man in cuffs and left him to bleed to death on the ground because he’s white. Unconscionable. Outrageous.
I haven’t moved on from the Karmelo Anthony fundraiser. They donated half a million as a reward for killing a white kid. Zero evidence or reason to think it was “self defense,” and they didn’t care. It was a reward for killing a white kid. I’ll never forget it. Neither should you
Bodycam footage shows UK police arresting 18-year-old Henry Nowak after he was stabbed in the chest instead of arresting the person who stabbed him.
23-year-old Vickrum Digwa has been thrown in prison for life after murdering Nowak.
Bodycam footage shows police putting Nowak in handcuffs as he bled out after Digwa accused him of being racist.
The last words Nowak was heard saying were "I can't breathe."
As Nowak was unresponsive on the ground, police officers told him he was under arrest.
The prosecution said Nowak was stabbed twice in his legs, once in the face, and once in the chest.
Disgusting.
