@hogpigoinkoink You should probably read the EX volumes after being refreshed with cut content or reading the Ln first. EX 1 can be read after s1 Ex 2/3 and EX6? (I think) should be read together after s2. EX 4/5 after s3/S4
@hogpigoinkoink Omg already? Damn. Yeah I’d say this is the best re zero arc for me. So fair enough. Again a case of the novels being better in some areas though. Volume 23 is a must read for any re zero fan, I really do believe it’s the single best re zero volume.
@Screen_Takes S1’s direction is really strong. The second arc is really consistently well directed, albeit maybe a handful of scenes that are just okay.
@hogpigoinkoink From the very beginning there has been a ton of cut content. So there’s that. But the main changes is that Regulas is more stronger than what the anime shows, some grand plot elements and Al lore.
@GusElMismisimo I think it’s worthwhile pointing out the series is long. Novels are 10 arcs in s4 is arc 6. Most of the mysteries have been revealed in the second half of the story. It’s a slow burn series. Maybe that could affect your opinion maybe?
@Screen_Takes Todd feels like the natural progression of the series’ take on antagonists. We go from an arc deeply rooted in identity and who is natsuki Subaru to directly challenging this identity we found confidence in.
@IdkNtm1 Right but some lines are not the same in translation. Let’s not forget yen press attributed one of capella’s speeches to Subaru too, the hate isn’t random. People are sick of the mismanagement
@sergeantsup There’s studies out there that people who use ai but stopped performed far worse on average than people who never used it to begin for tests and academia.
@Jaereku Personally I would remove a lot. Going back to read it, there’s so much drag and pacing issues all over. At least for me personally. The LN is more condensed, but it removes it in a way that the explanation feels half done.
@NotSelectoTrust Need the direction to be stellar, while it was in ep 11. I think it needs it in a different way, one with more focus on character animation and movement and usage of the screen
@peterugiusu400@ZeroSilver18 S3 and s4 have more frames and a less strained production to s2. S4’s production is possibly even better than s1. S1 and especially s2 was in rough water for a lot of it.
