Government officials are now showing up at Canadians’ homes over social media posts from months or even years ago.

This is happening after Bill C-9 — the Combatting Hate Act — which expands hate speech laws, creates new offences, increases penalties, and removes legal protections that used to exist.

Meanwhile, real crime (break-ins, violent offences, repeat offenders being released the same day) keeps getting worse. But instead of dealing with actual criminals, they’re using new powers to go after people for what they said online.

This is the exact kind of overreach we were warned about. It’s not about safety. It’s about control.

If they ever knock on your door over an old post, record the interaction and contact the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms. They’re already helping people in this situation.

We’re not the UK. We shouldn’t be heading there either.

🔥 This Canadian business owner just said what a lot of people are feeling:

He posted an ad for 5 full-time basic labor jobs starting at $18/hr.

In 3 days: 5,612 resumes.

Only 209 from Canadian-born citizens.

His response:

“What the fckis going on?”
“I would never hire anybody from a foreign country, myself. I wanna support Canada before I support anybody else.”
“I’d shut my fckn’ company down before I hire anybody outside of Canada. I don’t give a fuck.”

This is the on-the-ground reality as Canada tightens some temporary worker targets in 2026 while still managing high overall immigration. Entry-level roles are feeling the pressure.

Unrestrained immigration and foreign visas have already done a number on American if we do not get it under control, it will get worse here.
