@mikewarholic@MyGolfSpy If you’re into golf shafts it’s a great site. Pros have access to best of everything and cost is never an issue. If shaft could under performed when not properly spine why do OEMs sell adjustable hosels? Shaft tech is so much better than 10-15 years ago.
@RozcoUBadger@AndyTFE Cheaper to maintain a smaller GC. Shorter track speeds up play and it would bring a lot of old tracks back into play for pros. They’re a lot of great tracks that do not have real estate to stretch out long enough to challenge pros and elite AM.
@MyGolfSpy Almost all quality shafts have radial quality >98%. If a shaft benefits from Puring then you need a new shaft. Follow club shaft review. They consistently confirm this. If you have doubt, why would OEMs have adjustable hosels.

@UofmUpdates247 Have to agree. 2021 was special. Thought we had no chance especially after OSU cooked Sparty. But when I parked my car the guy at the house was upset he sold his tix. Said there was a special energy in AA that morning. He was right & my son was w me. Great day!
@mgwp1@fried_egg_golf@AndyTFE To be fair ANGC gave up -20 w sub air in 2020 when they played in November and it was wet. There is only so much a course can do when it gets wet. Humidity holds water in green even w sub air.
@fried_egg_golf@mcginleygolf Fried, what is your solution to all the rain & humidity? Idk if any fast and firm track that stays that way after so much rain. Add to that you need a track that can handle the infrastructure. They will tear up any soft track. ANGC gave up -20 in Nov & they have sub-air.
@HurlbutHuddle@bstrawb01@PGATUOR My point is ANGC has sub air and still couldn’t get greens firm when played in November when they get a lot of rain. Make fwys too narrow and hitting fwys becomes more about luck than skill (see Winged Foot in 2020). Guys just starting bomb and gouging and BDC won -6.
@HurlbutHuddle@bstrawb01@PGATUOR Really? Put a ton of water on any track add humidity and the pros will tear it up. It’s not the set up -its nature. ANGC has sub air and couldn’t get greens firm in 2020 & -20 won there. Nothing the set up can do to firm it up enough in so little time after rain.
@Daniel_Rapaport Idc what course you choose. If it rains for several days before and during the event the best players in the world will tear it up. It is also humid. It is impossible for the superintendent to firm up & increase the speed of the greens. Mother Nature always wins.
