Did you know Namjoon hid a Yun Hyong-keun painting in the Come Back to Me MV? But not the one you think! In honor of #RPWPmovie's #BIFF2024 debut, I started my series on #RPWP w/ how I interpret the album using RM's framework of Yun paintings. #BIFFxRM_RPWP#RPWPBusanFilmFestival
its actually rly funny that all the jokes unironically became true and hollywoods takeaway from heated rivalrys success is more straight sports romances rather than queer stories with queer directors at the helm
@illillumi@le0xxx_ Most non-Korean fans mispronounce Jungkook's name, in spite of making a huge deal about any reporter or celebrity who does the same.
I know it feels like we’re having a big sleepover with the entire world and will come to an end one day soon, but watching Americans dancing with the Algerians and the Scottish at our bbqs and so forth and so on….. this is the world and the America I wanna live in all the time.
@DanHopp Every broadcast is like ‘welcome to Little Cape Verde, Massachusetts’ and then they cut to 80,000 people losing their minds in a Dunkin’ parking lot.
Watching these World Cup tourists eat at Waffle House, marvel at gas station food in the Deep South, and drive through our beautiful country, one random stop at a time, really has been the spiritual balm I’ve needed. No matter where they’re from, ordinary citizens from coast to coast have welcomed them here with open arms.
It’s a reminder of something really important. This country, for all its flaws, is awesome. It’s a wonderful, diverse, and beautiful place. It’s far bigger than one man. America is a great country.
Just want to thank all the international World Cup fans for coming and lifting all of us Americans up with your absolutely charming encounters with our big weird country. We needed it. Best 250th birthday gift ever.
Imagine if Boston (Massachusetts, really) allowed for more fun stuff to happen throughout the year? Not just when there's a major sports event? What's happening in and around Boston right now is a glimpse of what life here could be like, if more of us stopped being such Puritans!
What’s happening in Boston right now is a once in a generation to chance to change our future.
